Note: I haven't looked at anyone else's thoughts on this yet. Here are my preliminary thoughts. As I said in chat, we still have five days left to discuss this and our feelings on sdcp could change dramatically once matchups are posted.
Since we're salvaging 23, discarding 25, and we're allowed to convert up to 24, we could (almost) discard 25 pills/pends and convert our salvage to fill those decks back up. The effect would be minimal. We'd end up losing the damsels out of DBH but we could easily sub in different cards or QM the damsels back to life. This is not a bad way to go and we should remember it as an option if we'd like to use DBH in round 2.
But, given that DBH was the deck in which the team had the least conviction, I think we'll probably use this opportunity to strengthen our vault and add pieces of other decks. I said when I was targeting 11 decks that we'd likely have to bail on one early, and DBH may be that deck. Here's what I'm likely to wanna do:
Discard 10 from DBH: -10 gravy cards (keep 1 BH)
Discard 9 from grabbow: -8 wind pills, -1 UG
Discard 6 from catatitans: -6 air pends
Salvage 8 from ghostmare: My first inclination was to try to put some pieces in place for Burd's ghostmare. But if we salvage 8 towards that goal we're still missing 8 cards and we're just not real likely to find them. Keeping the 5 RTs makes more sense to me (and the other three could be steals or whatever; i see them as likely conversion). They wreck a lot of what Gravy, for instance, brings to the table. If we don't use an RT splash in round 2, I could probably be convinced to take the pieces, though...
Salvage 8 from hourglass UGs: +6 UGs, +2 cards to convert
Salvage 7 from water catatitans: +4 titan, +3 catapult (working towards building a 2nd catatitan or keeping filler if first dies. AWs can be QM'd (this round, even) if we're forced to)
Material vault changes from previous round: lost DBH deck, gained discord splash, gained RT splash, gained good chunk of catatitan, gained 5 UGs, probably need to convert stuff to pends. Will determine what is converted during R2 deckbuilding.
