Yeah, I'll  be able to do that if Tomatoman doesn't come back.

Hey guys sorry for no reply earlier: I just started a new job this week + exams...
I tryied a bit fractal-spider against ai3 and I noticed some stuff concerning the deck: very often I end up having loads of unused  :air quantum, and because after fractal all  :aether is lost the spawning is consequently slowed, one of the ai3 had a firefly out and it was rlly helpfull using one of the fractal on it, maybe the deck could use 1 Firefly instead of a spider. Also the deck is extremely vulnerable to spine carapace / Fire shield / deflag on wings. I think  :life is likely to expect me to get owls and I suspect they might go   :life:fire against me: which would be tough matchup if I go for the actual version of fractal spider...
Considering the Lobo against  :life : only target is forest spectre so I dunno, with too much  :air quantum often maybe an owl instead..?
What do you guys think?

edit: after some more testing i'm not sure about the changes anymore.. your original version might b better

There are no  :aether Pillars anymore. Actually adding 1 Firefly would be a good idea (instead a Lobo, for example). But there can't be less than 5 Spiders, otherwise the point of this deck starts to dissappear. Lobo might be useful in case of momentumed Jade's or Firefly Queen.

And yes, there is a possibility of  :fire, but what can we do about that? There is also a equal possibility of Healing (they might try just to outheal us and spam Bonds).
And yes, there is a possibility of Spine Shield, but there is even bigger possibility of Jade Shield (gas).
And there are no decks that could counter everything.
The Owls are not what they seem.

I am fine going with flying morning stars.  If they go annibus/phase shields, deck 8 is stopped by 1 reverse time or lightning on the BEed dragonfly.  Morning stars is a better general counter and it is still early, it is hard to predict what type of deck they may use because we haven't seen any yet.  This is what I have for my deck (all I changed is 1 miracle for a dragon since we only have one.):

FINAL DECK

Please post a precise message, like :

FINAL DECK

above your deck, to say it's not a test deck. I'll update the main deck list with it, and you'll play with it unless you post another deck with the "Final deck" message.

If someone's not here, another team member can post a message with "Final deck of *missing player* "

It may be complicated but we won't get any penalties for late deckbuilding  ;)

---

I'll fight against  :aether . The opponent may play Dimensional Shield to avoid direct damage (expected from  :air decks). So I hesitate between :
- a Momentum deck (but... we don't have any Momentum card, so it would be a risky Flying Titan deck, easy to PU)
- a  :darkness quanta denial (but the Devourers are already used)
- an Unstable Gas deck ! the damage isn't blocked by Dim Shield, impossible to PU. Problem, we have only 6 of these cards.
- some deck like this :

Code: [Select]
5of 5of 5og 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5up 5up 5up 5uq 5ur 5uu 5uu 5uu
It seems balanced, as I can steal the shields... but  :aether can PU the dragons. We don't have any Dusk Mantle, it can be replaced by a Fog Shield.
Went AWOL. No reason.
Now silent. May return.

I will go ahead and make my deck above final.  Also it would be great if we could have decks finalized a bit early so I have a chance to check them against the vault and ensure they are all legal.

Gyro, you can just start putting them up; now they seem to be pretty much clear. If any changes are needed, we both can modify them later (grats to me for becoming a mod in this room :)  ).

I know this is strange to say, but don't worry TOO much about our decks in the first rounds. We can easily take decks that are maybe not-so-sure winning deck or a bit experimental. But obviously we can't afford that kind of experiments later anymore. So if a deck seems to be weak or tends to lose, we probably shouldn't keep them for the next rounds (when 1 loss equals with a loss of 30 cards) and we should play them out as soon as possible (if there is no obvious way to make it better).

Ok, my FINAL DECK:
Code: [Select]
5of 5of 5og 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5ul 5ul 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 7ta 7td 7td 7td 7td 7td
The Owls are not what they seem.

Ok, I've added the confirmed decks. I put the other decks I found... hoping I have not made mistakes.

I'll post my deck in the next hours or so ^^

@Pervepic : Congrats for becoming a mod ;)

Ok so this is the deck I will use:

ALMOST FINAL DECK

Code: [Select]
5ok 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 61o 61o 61o 61o 61u 620 620 620 620 620 622 622 622 622 622
I added the Firefly without getting the Lobo out, you are right about firefly queen and momentum... should I go with it like that 32 cards or tae smthg out? Maybe a Wing?

Seems solid. I liked this 31-card version even more  :) (less bad draws). I don't know, if  :life doesn't have many shields up, this deck probably kills.
The Owls are not what they seem.

Final Deck
Code: [Select]
5c2 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5lc 5lc 5lc 5lk 5lk 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu
For the Flying Titans deck, I'm thinking of putting in a pair of black holes instead of gravity pulls in case they run immolation. What do you guys think about that?
