Round 1 deck discussion

kev - taking Bonair w/Arses unless I'm persuaded by someone (or myself) to switch
Jen - taking Flying Titans unless he's persuaded by someone (or himself) to switch
justa - taking Shadow Dragons.  Very likely the best St option for the round.
annamall - deciding between dbh and fractalgons
Elbirn - deciding between Bonair and Light Stall
Bloom got hit by real life and hasn't had as much of a chance to discuss.  He indicated today in team chat he was considering Light Stall and Hurricane.

We've still got almost two full days, so no worries about deciding right this second, and no worries if you decide to change from the above.  I just like to keep tabs.

Probably time I post here.. which I'm only really doing to allow myself easy access to this thread from my phone.

  Kev has stated he wants to use Bonair which I'm all for.

  Flying titans seems perfectly reasonable, and that's Jen's own choice anyway.

  grabbow, previously stated Nova is a reasonable counter to Dev.

  I have nothing good to add here, I've tried, believe me.

  not sure if I should use a light stall or Hurricane. I'd really appreciate some help on this one :p

simulator testing has shown that there's very little difference when using strategist with using our dark duos against the decks in the water section of the gdocs. (for now) I'll think on some decks and see where testing takes me there.
Therefore, I'd say give strat to hurricane if that's taken.

Well we're at the 24 hour mark.  We should allow a little time to make sure two players aren't suddenly picking the same deck, discuss roles, and add the decks to the Gdoc.  So if you haven't finalized your deck choice please do so.

so far, the deck I feel would be best for the water matchup (crapshoot) would be shadow dragons atm.

It seems to do the best (or rather comparable) against a lot of water decks and doesn't take the sancstall

A preliminary look at our deck selections and at my suggestions for role assignments

I've already set the vault to this - in case something horrible happens and no one replies (It required converting 4 pends into 4 pillars). It is probably a wise move on our parts to quanta test our decks and make sure we don't want to make any changes.

Note: We need to update the forum post that lists our team roles before the dueling phase begins. DO NOT LET KEV OR i FORGET THIS

Looks great.  The roles and ups are exactly what I would have gone with.

It looks like the DBH has one more drag and one less dragonfly than the deck we put in the vault.  That's 100% fine; I just wanna make sure that was maul's intention.

I messed with the Q intentionaly to account for some CC. At 5.8 QI(iirc) and all that denial it seems in testing not to interfer that much, while at the same time vs 6 lightnings 1 creature will stay on board.
