Pre-War Responsibilities

Alright, so we need to get these things done:

- Propaganda (We only have 4 days to do this...)
- Member roles (Not that important but needs to get done)
- Deck ideas (Just start a thread that everyone can post any and all deck ideas. The more ideas, the better our vault can be)
- Card check (So, Pervepic has every single card, but the rest of us don't. We need a list of cards from everyone so we can assign them decks accordingly. For example, we can't assign a deck with 6 Owl's Eyes to someone with only 4 in their collection.)
- Anything else (Spreadsheets, chat, etc)

My cards:
All unupgraded cards, 6 of all rare weapons, 45,000 electrum (so upgrading won't be a problem, plus I already have some upped cards), 1 blue nymph

Chat:
typewithme works great for war; however sometimes it crashes or doesn't load so it's not perfect.

Role:
I'm a soldier.

Oops, I just sent this out by pm cause I didn't notice our section was up.  Anyways, looking at the voting (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,23560.0.html) from last year the top two elements were Death and Life.  Both did a good job characterizing their teams, Life with the gangster creatures and death with a comic, so I'm thinking we can do the same sort of thing with an Air Force mockup.  Here is a rough draft I did:


I can add stuff like the rest of our team, adding more boxes isn't too hard.  I figure I can put in a dogfight against another element, likely someone popular like Napalm or TorB.  Anyone/all ideas welcome.

Is Krava going to be done in time?  He only has Submissions due in: Time's up!.

I definitely like plastiqe's idea about the air force comic.

As for my cards, I don't have every unupped card, but I have >32,000 electrum and 106 upgraded cards, so I can buy whatever's needed of me unless you want huge numbers of upped cards that I don't already have.  I also have more than 6 copies of every rare (excluding nymphs and marks).

I'd rather have an air force picture that looks decently epic rather than a comic, unless we manage to make it painfully funny.  I mean, painfully funny.

For songs I guess RHCP is my 2nd choice, because it's the most war-like (Phil Collins is not war-like lol) but if we're just tyring to get votes then we should go with something that has mass appeal.  That's why I like Top Gun Anthem cause at the very least it is a "war song" and at best it ties in nicely with the comics.

So I made page 2 and page 3 and I'm planning on redoing page 1 (Intro) and adding a page 4 (DrunkD blows up noobs posting in the "Nerf This Card" forums).  Painfully funny enough?



Hrmm I'll likely edit them all to be the same size.  Also, I'm thinking there should be names over the avatars so you can see who each plane is.  Speaking of, Bloom you need to pick an Airy avatar so I can add you.

A comic is usually the way to go. Making it painfully funny, whatever. Community references always score big. Maybe a star wars, death star type thing in the end. 2m radius, our star soldier (take your pick, I have 7 of them  ) destroys the death star, Darth Vader (Higs/Torb screaming Nooooooo!) should also earn us points with the mass voters.  I can make a crude speech to go along with it too, make lots of drug and blowing references , as well as a couple rhymes thrown in, that usually cemements a couple of votes.

I'll drop Krava a PM regarding the banner.

And I'm happy with the Top Gun Anthem if the comic goes up there. Its not my musical style, but after several long years, I realised that nobody shares my music tastes anyway. Plus, its pretty epic.



Edit: I've taken the liberty of putting Pervepic as Liutenant, since he has all the upgrades. Other roles are basically for whoever wants them (please, speak up), as I would like everybody trying to do some of everything, rather than assigning players specific and forced jobs.

Font seems out of place but the art itself is amazing.

The comic looks great, could be a little neater (looks slightly disorganized), but that doesn't really matter.
