sigh, we have our first lost against team Darkness, they had a entropy antimatter deck with Nymphs, went first all 3 games and lost 2 by deckout.

Hmm, stupid bad luck with the Queen deck indeed. You both had 31 cards and just luck decided the result. And I personally took out the 32-th card from that deck. And I didn't put Owl in, but I should have put it, since they had only 1 Steal there. Oh Well..
At least we had more luck with the second deck choice

It's pretty silly that the matches you lost were literally decided by a coin flip. So definitely not your fault at all. Nice job on the subbing though.

Even so, 7-1 is a pretty good start methinks.

That made me very happy. I was watching the matchup (I often go to chat as a guest), and when I saw Titans vs. Dimensional Shields, the odds looked good. An early Lobotomizer could have messed things up, but fortunately that didn't happen.

I'm more disturbed by the fact that their deck choice was so weird, they could have chosen it becuase they expected Firefly/hope, but if it was one of the several other decks we had or we had some CC, we would have won.

Air matches are done. Just lost to Dragoon 

Air is 7-2, tying with Entropy for win-loss ratio.

Heh, no problem. We have backup anyway. A bit beyond my understanding in this match was that not only Dragoon played exactly the the same deck that counters yours among all possible decks they had, but he also upgraded exactly those cards which were needed to counter our deck. If you ask people who prefer upgrading Towers instead of Earthquakes, I guess you don't find many.

But you all were great in first round and grats for the good results

Yep good work everybody. I think we showed that air is not a team to be taken lightly.

Chum3 I think after this round is finished, you and I should go through and catalog all of the decks used by the various teams. This will give us a good idea of what cards they have available and what decks they seem to use. I'll help you with it because it will be a sizable task.
