I thought noobiecakes should have started this. I'm still a bit too fixed on roles, I suppose. :))

Not good matchups this time. At all.

Fire is always a tricky one, dark is strong against us and there's a General too, gravity has a lieutenant and momentum destroys most of our decks - that, and they can't be rushed effectively. Light can be devastating with their stall, Entropy's general is... well, is Entropy's general, aether is on a roll, time is almost a counter-element and earth is too versatile and good.
So, I think we've got some good thinking to do.

Regarding the event card... I don't really see us using it much, as most of our decks are duos. But it might be good to mention that some of our opponents will be inclined to use monos.

I think they can try a Firestall on us. They will definitely bring a way around bonewalls, plus some deflags and CC. They could do a rushy time splash as they did with gravity last round, but without the upps, I think they will bring a firestall. That being said... I'm trying to think of a good deck for this matchup. It will probably be a rushy stall, if I can build a decent one.

I'm a bit lost against darkness.
Amilir should probably take our grabbow + UGs.
I'd personally take eqs against vs light, because both light and earth can make a decker, but we only have one Twin Dragons deck to field. I'd say we use the otk against earth, for four reasons: first, earth can pack eas in any deck; second, earth's BB will be less of a problem to an OTK; third, light's deck are almost all vulnerable to eqs; fourth, they probably won't think we'll use the same deck twice in a row.
Entropy can produce good mono decks, and they have a failing round to recover from. I expect them playing a good number of monos. I would go for something that kills both entropy's stall and monoentropy... whatever that is. Probably a bonewall OE with poison.
For aether, I'd go with an UG deck.
Against Time, a flying MS would be a good choice. Also quinted spiders... which would benefit more from having a General use it.

Against darkness I'm thinking of maybe a grabbybow or flying morningstars, the reason being I need something resilient to devourers.  Another option would be to pack an OE/Bonewall with a bunch of extra pendula, but that would make it less stable.

I was also considering an air/light/earth trio with enchant artifacts splashed so I can save at least one sactuary from steals.  However, that would require salvaging the light pendula and pillars from the water deck we beat, and I'm not sure that's worth it.

Here's the deck:

Code: [Select]
592 592 592 592 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5of 5of 5of 5of 5of 5og 5og

I disapprove, sorry Hisar. Too little  :light quanta, PA unnecessary; most devtals run only at max 2 Steals. I suggest an FFQ deck instead.

I can see us bring a mono Dragons/Wings/UG deck against Aether.
Grabbed UG is always good against Gravity; upgrade Grabbs.
For Darkness I think we can use FFQ to counter devtal, which is highly likely they'll use against us.
The rest Morm said I'm fine with.

I'll make us some decks when I get home.

I'm thinking of using the event card with UGs and a fire mark.  The generic air deck would work.  And in response to morm, look at the first line of my first post.

This is what I've been using:
Code: [Select]
5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5of 5of 5of 5of 5of 5of 5og 5og 5og 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5opIts only doing ok, winning about a 1/3 of the games, which is better than my original deck.  Open to suggestions.  I might screw the event card and go with deflags, cause those would probably greatly improve my win rate.  I am testing against mono dim shield stall, btw.

Against aether, you're definitely going to want to bring deflags. Otherwise your dragons just become dead cards a good portion of the time.

The choice for dragons vs. OEs will have to be made based on whether or not we think they'll bring immortal creatures. I'd probably bring at least 1 though, because even if they do bring immortal creatures, it still does decent damage at least.

If anyone wants to talk decks in chat, I will probably be in there most of the time from now for 3-4 hours.

I think we should take the PU dragon blitz against light for a few reasons.  First of all they used enchant artifact in their stall against us last time.  They may take the exact same deck thinking we can't beat it without upgrades.  Also it beats their firestall, and seems to win more than it loses against their dune scorp deck.  These seem to me to be the three most likely decks for us to face from the decks they used last round.

Against  :gravity (lieut):
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 590 590 590 590 590 590 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5og 5og 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5puBlack Hole is the bane of this deck. Hopefully  :gravity won't predict this deck.
Against  :earth:
Code: [Select]
5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5lk 5lk 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5puI've initiated the idea of a Life stall against Earth in a chat session with Truddy. It is a decker against Earth and if not, it'll slowly build up the big damage and even one Adren Staff will hold off 3 Shriekers, if Earth decides to rush instead of stall.
Against  :aether:
Code: [Select]
5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5of 5of 5of 5of 5of 5of 5og 5og 5og 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5opEither risk mono, or add Deflag against Dim Shields. Though I think they probably won't bring shields since they know we have UGs.
Against  :darkness (gen):
Code: [Select]
5c6 5c6 5c6 5c6 5lk 5lk 5lm 5lm 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5ol 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5puI have a feeling FFQ with Sanc will fare well against devtal.
Against  :light:
Code: [Select]
5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5of 5of 5of 5of 5of 5og 5og 5op 5op 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 61r 61r 61r 61r 61rSuggested by Truddy. It is quite possible to do some damage, then surprise OTK.
Idk for the other three...

I think I would rather have 1 more OE in place of a druidic staff.  Then it is even with the number of adrenalines and OE can be a savior in some situations.  Here is the deck code:
Code: [Select]
5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c6 5c6 5c6 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5lk 5lk 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5oj 5ol 5ol 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu
