I'm not sure if this has been pointed out before, but this card must have been in Zanz's mind a long time before it came out. While browsing through the flashkit forums, I saw an idea similar to this (a shield only flying and momentum(ed?) creatures can attack through, along with other theoretical cards.

I don't think I can find it now, but I can assure you it is in the first 42 pages :P

Quite astute DrunkDestroyer, I myself went through Flashkit Forums and bookmarked a couple of the more interesting and funny things I found there.

And yes, the inspiration for Wings was one of them:

Please change Wings. 7 :air is clearly not the cost. I'm surprised this has gone untouched for a while.

And what about momentum?
Momentum is unaffected by shields but wings should work different. This card makes you fly  so momentum shouldn't work on it.

Wings is strong enough as it is.  Why break Momentum?  If you really want to rationalize it, Momentum makes things go fast enough to jump off of a ramp to hit you or something stupid like that.

dont know if it was suggested before: players with wings can attack with their melee weapon another winged player

i searched in this topic, nerf this card and buff this card boards but didnt find nothing like it
