Cockatrice also has wings, so there's a chance it could fly. The life dragon has very well developed wings, it can most definitely fly I don't know why you didn't include it. As for the spirit, I'm not sure, I think it's like a rooted plant or something.

Those arent guesses on what I think should and shouldnt have it. Thats what does and doesnt have it in the trainer. I tested EVERY card, even if I didnt think it should have it. Every card except malig cell

So in other words, Emerald Dragons, all of the nymphs (excluding  :entropy, which is interesting...), and animated weapons don't have the 'airbourne' passive skill, correct?

An interesting selection, indeed. Looks like 'rush' decks (excluding ones from :fire and :air) are at a stand still if Wings is played.

Well, I don't have time to test it tonight, but I have to say three things offhand:

1) Awesome.  While I think that Finkel does have a point about it being 'out-of-sync' with the rest of the game, I also have to say that I don't care.  :air needs something like this to bring it back into line with the rest of the elements, and I think that the idea of using passive skills to indicate flying (and maybe in the future swimming?) etc. is a sweet idea.

2) Crappy.  It's just plain not good to have a card that says "You lose, just quit" to some decks.  There's nothing like playing a game and getting told in a single move that you no longer have any chance to win.  Right now, there's Gravity Shield, but it's a rare enough thing to have all high-HP creatures that it's recognized...and every element has low-HP attackers -- except the one that comes with Momentum.  With this, it's just the opposite.  I play Life all the time, and to be forced to splash :water for Spirits simply because my opponent might outright shut me down with Wings is lame beyond belief.

3) Animated Weapons, and all Dragons should fly, and having Wings should disable any non-ranged weapons you're using.

If it were me, I'd either make it disabled every 3rd turn (making it mechanically similar to a two-turn Phase Shield for non-flying creatures that automatically renews itself after a turn of downtime), or have it inflict 9 damage per turn on it's user.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Ah, okay - I just tested flying weapons, and it appears ALL weapons (including flying Eternities, Pulvys, Dirks (other), etc.) happen to be airbourne. However, I'm assuming that Eagle's Eye (Owl's Eye non-upped) is still considered to be ranged when not flying, meaning that all the other weapons can't harm a player using Wings, while the bow weapon is the only thing that can by pass the shield automatically.

So again - dragons and ALL* flying weapons (eagle's eye only if you're only thinking of the weapons in the slots) have the 'Airbourne' passive.

* = Haven't checked a flying Arsenic to see whether it retains its poisonous passive skill (if consumed, poisons the enemy).

EDIT: Arsenic loses its 'poisonous' passive upon flying, gaining the 'Airbourne' skill. Also, Vampires ( :darkness) are also flying.

I think the name is fine I mean come on you grow wings and fly! Not very complicated at all.

As for the effect I think it is awesome. In some ways it can work like a dusk shield except you will be able to calculate what can and can't hit you!

I am really liking this Zanz!

One question... if someone explodes your wings do you fall and get hurt?  :P

I just missed a few dragons in the non-upped form. Now they all should have "airborne".

Deja Vu should have it as well.

Swarm (scarabs) is also considered flying.

Arsenic is a problem... not sure about how to deal with that yet. Should it keep the poisonous skill? What do you call something poisonous and airborne at the same time?
