and that could make Air to a real counter element against Fire.
:))  That made me lol.  Doesn't Fire have that really annoying 1 or 2 :fire spell card that destroys any permanent in the game?  Yea, Wings won't bother Fire.

Well then you sacrifice permanent control beyond pillar denial.  In fact, Phoenixes, Crimson Dragons, and spells will tear you apart.

having both this and gravity shields in 1 deck would play around with the enemy -- first have Wings up -- they play lots of dragons only -- then you switch to grav shield and they are like >_< grr - now I have to play lots of nooby cards >_<

Well then you need to splash in a third element, which is rarely good.  Besides, assuming your up against  :fire, wouldn't those Crimson Dragons and Phoenixes still attack you?

crimson dragons don't fly - phoenix does
gravity shield doesn't block either (crimson is 12/3 and pheonix is 7/1)
so Wings works better here - unless you have Lava golem rushers >_<

We will get a nice discussion, which wings are too small for flying and which not...

Even small wings can be strong. And dragons like the Crimson Dragon could clap their small wings with a very high frequency, so that the size is sufficient for flying.

And the Collossal Dragon could fly , too. The flying dragons in books or films are often very massive with strong wings.
Btw, who says , that the Colossal dragon must have a high weight, perhaps the skin of the dragon is very hard, and not sensitive to heat or coldness.

And if this is not enough to explain, why Crimson Dragons /Collossal Dragons could fly:

Dragons are magical creatures - they can fly - even when the physicians would say "no, they can´t".

I´d say: "Everything with wings is airborne and the rest - we´ll see".
That makes it easier for players to understand.

It makes the game more complex
You said it like its a bad thing.  Imo this game needs some complexity, not that its bad now, but it seems like there's three or four deck "styles" that mainly everyone plays.

Now i tried to read all the posts but i may have miss something....but as far as i can gather only two weapons can attack through this shield.  Not to bad for now, but the "atm" that was mentioned early on in this thread has me really interested.  I'm all for cards like this, it seems like its either like it or leave it.  However i think there should be a flipside (or an alternate) to this card in another card called web.

air is going to kick so much ass now!!!
For air, this is effectively a shield that can't be played against you (as with Steal.)  Advantage:  :air

Way overpowered, and it feels out of sync with the rest of elements. As of now, elements works quite differently from other CCGs, because it doesn't really have creature types and permanent types the way other games have them. You can't play a card that makes it impossible for anybody's creatures to attack unless he has a spellcaster. This card is pushing the game in that direction. This card will single-handedly counter way too many decks, by my understanding of it. Fire shield and Spine carapace counter many decks, too, but they're much less specific. Cards with momentum or a lot of health can handle them, and you still take damage. Hope, the biggest damage-preventer of the day, is vulnerable to any mass-creature control, which includes many cards.

Wings is only vulnerable to your opponent having specific creatures. I hate that, because it's not about strategy anymore, it's about having particular creatures of certain types in your deck, and that's stupid to me. All the other cards affect other cards with a general attribute. Electrocuter affects cards with active abilities. This card is essentially asking the other player if he, for no particular reason, has certain cards in his deck. That's simply not fair to me. Dusk mantle and fog shield affect all creatures equally. All the other shields only differentiate between cards' health and attack, and I want it to stay this way. This deck single-handedly counters too many cards. I don't like that aspect to most card games. It shouldn't matter if you have a specific "genre" of cards in your deck, it should matter if you can deal with particular strategies. If you have a way to counter your opponent having lots of healing, or a gravity shield, or a lot of scarabs, etc.

I vote no, no, no, no, no to this card.
