I like the effect, but the name is lame, and it does seem a bit OP. Perhaps lowering the casting cost to five and adding a :air :air upkeep would be better. Perhaps even making the upkeep cost off-element would be even better.

Wow, just wow...

This is exactly what :air needed. Now we, the humans in the game can grow wings?? Looks like I'm going to like :air even more than I do now.  :)

Are we going to add a Flying spell to give creatures flying as well? Will it be in gravity? Magnetism? :) Or maybe a card that removes Flying?

Edit: I think it should have an Upkeep instead of lasting N turns. Because if it lasted N turns, that's some strange version of a Phase Shield. Which I don't like, I'm all for the uniqueness it has.

Elementals in the game.

Anyway, just a name suggestion: High Altitude.

Two new passive abilities are going to be added to the game:
"Airborne" for creatures capable of flying (most dragons, angels, pegasai, rustlers, spirits, photons etc etc)
"Ranged" for ranged weapons (only owl's eye atm)
This is awesome. I want to build a ranged deck.

I disagree with people who are saying "Wings" is a lame name. I think it's a good, simple and descriptive name. Not all cards names have to be "epic" because that would be lame.

The ranged weapon part will mean alot more farming =(
Doesnt like it

If you think about it, weapon cant deal that much damage in the first place, so ranged or not, its still ok to reach the opponent. And weapon who left the slot are counted as creatures so they wont hit (or they should since flying weapon make them airbourne i guess....)

But I love the airbourne part!
However, fairly overpowered, but looks like a great idea, just needs tuning

Dang, 3 cards in a day? This is crazy.

Anyway, I absolutely approve of the passives that are going to be added.

Two new passive abilities are going to be added to the game:
"Airborne" for creatures capable of flying (most dragons, angels, pegasai, rustlers, spirits, photons etc etc)
"Ranged" for ranged weapons (only owl's eye atm)
I think this shield is going to be hell against a lot of decks that don't have any :air creatures, dragons, or other beings that can actually get off the ground (Vultures, Scarabs, Phoenixes, Gargoyles, etc.). What's more interesting is the addition of ranged weapons, which I believe is going to be a twist (does that mean that there will be a whole new set of ranged weapons for every other element besides :air, while :air gains a new 'non-ranged' weapon? O.o). Do flying weapons count as 'ranged'? ^^;

It's about damn time that air got a new shield, and this is quite sexy (if not borderline overpowered) for a element that tried to rip :darkness off with its shield (50% -> 40% miss chance). Wings is a lovely name by the way, as it's both logical (granting the player wings as a 'defensive' mechanism to avoid attacks, rather than a direct shield) and hilarious (*insert Red Bull joke here*). ;)

*crosses his fingers for testing implementation in trainer*

We're Elementals in the game? I thought we were humans manipulating the Elements in the game. But, either way, there's no set story.

I agree with Scaredgirl that Wings is a good, appropriate name. What else would one grow but wings when they fly? Should we call them Batwings or something? Chuck Norris's Levitation Device?

Yes, Arondight, we are elementals. I also agree that Wings is an appropriately, albeit brilliantly understated card name.

Oh, darn, there goes my fantasy of being some kind of bad ass Elemental warlock in game.  :))

I'd like to know whether flying weapons get the airborne passive ability as they should but wouldn't this mean two passive abilities, which under my knowledge, isn't available.....yet :D

I think to gain airbourne, we need an other card named red bull =P
That should be the spell card that gives the Flying ability.

The name "Wings" is simple and awesome because it describes exactly what the card is and exactly what it can do with one word. Keep it.

Hmm... yes, this is exactly what :air needs, but as it stands, it is WAY overpowered. It has to last a set amount of turns AND have an upkeep cost. Seriously, this is Dimensional Shield on steroids here.

Upkeep: 2 :air a turn
Lasts 5 turns

Something like that...

And why can Rustlers fly?
