The only other card currently that has 'ranged' is short bow (and long bow).  The only other way to get 'ranged' is for a crusader to endow a ranged weapon.

yes, seeing as how the creature effect for this is flying - cards with ranged are quite limited

Wait until your wings/recluse deck comes up against flying owl eyes and your webs do nothing. Granted it's a pretty niche case, but it does actually change games sometimes.
