It would be extremely useful if FW/AW would be playable even if there is no weapon in my weapon slot. I've ended up quite a few times recently where I wanted to draw an extra card but wasn't able to because my hand was full. I wanted to, but could not get rid of AW, since it can only be played if you have a weapon. Thus I was forced not to draw an extra card (as I couldn't play any other than AW due to low quanta), and than discard AW at the end of the turn.On a related note, if you should happen to click this card accidentally (i.e. when you have no weapon in hand), you still lose the quantum cost.
I would rather choose toThis is somewhat similar to the problem of not being able to cast a Firestorm on your own creatures.
- pay the casting cost of AW (and play it without use) AND draw an extra card, than
- discard AW AND not being able to draw an extra card
Is there any chance that these might change in the near future?

I think I'll use this in my deck. My only question is: Will me Eagles Eye still have its sniper ability as a creature? Reading through the replies, it seems like it does, but I want to be sure.
