And now for some Death duos:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52t 52t 52t 52t 52t 61q 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 8pk

+ Runs very smoothly
+ Multiple sources of damage (Poison, Mummy, Lightning)

- PC makes it less stally :(

Playing priority of Death cards is generally Arsenic > Poison > Mummy
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52r 52r 52r 52r 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61v 61v 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 8pk

+ Immune to CC
+ Great synergy between Thunderbolt and Bone Wall
+ Handles large creatures wonderfully

- Low damage potential (decks with healing will tank it)
- Fractal, Adrenaline, Pharaoh, FFQ, Mitosis all counter this deck if the creature generators aren't removed in time with Lightning

Two other ones that were really good last war in a pinch were Twinsenics and Mummytal.

Death is one of our best assets, we can make a TON of useable duos with them.

What are possible plans versus gravity?
I was sleuthing through Team :gravity 's applications and at least three of them have a grav nymph (which gets past silence). If they can get one out early, it seems pretty hard to overcome. I couldn't tell whether their Lieutenant, jmdt, had one or not. (GG, TheIdioticIdiot, TStar have one each.) GG was offering a pulvy/titan farm much earlier, around when teams were just picked, but I suppose that's to be expected.

Gravity's going to have some very strange decks this time around.  I know because jmdt shared some of his deck ideas with me before the War began because he wanted someone who could test his deck ideas on.  Unfortunately my super bad, extremely selective memory prevents me from sharing some of his rather unpredictable deck ideas with everyone else.

However, there -are- a few that I do remember.
-Hope + ...Colossals?  All I remember is it was something with Hope in it xD
-Liquid Shadow + Colossals.
-Catapaulting Titans with Freeze...or at least I think it was Freeze...
-Graviton Fire Eaters + Steam Machines.  Had Deflags in it too iirc.  Come to think of it, it's really similar to my Steam Machine deck I posted with Gravity cards in place of Aether cards.  Subconsciously using other people's deck ideas FTL.
-Something with Gravity and Death.  Can't remember what this was now.
-Some kind of a Life deck...looked pretty awesome.  Was it Mitosis Mercs?  Bah I can't remember.

However, he claimed to have had at least 50 decks made at the time so chances are he's not going to use one of the decks he showed me against us.

One thing about jmdt is that he tries to be highly unpredictable with the decks he creates.  However, as awesome as his deck ideas may be, it is ultimately up to the team as a whole as to whether or not to take those decks.  This puts Gravity in a difficult position.  For one, they have unpredictable decks they can choose from, but on the other hand once those decks are revealed then it's going to be easy to prepare counters and it'll inflict a lot of pain on their vaults as a consequence in later rounds.  Last War kevkev turned down multiple deck ideas jmdt submitted because they seemed to be risky.  I don't know if GG has the nerve to do the same here, but this is a good possibility.

Also, as stupid as it sounds, being a Deck Helper apparently puts jmdt at a higher priority over the others.  Since he'll be listened to more, we can expect to see his ideas more.  Using something equally as unpredictable might be the only way for us to secure a win in the earlier rounds.

And the latter two three can be solved with Lobo. Gotta love it.

It seems like every team has a Nova-Graboid deck now, so I went ahead and devised one for us as well.  Funny thing about this deck is that it's actually pretty awesome.  Shriekers are extremely vulnerable after Evolving which is when the opponent can play practically any form of CC to destroy it instantly.  Silence stops that threat dead.  Strategy is simple:  Play Graboid --> Silence ---> Evolve Graboid ---> Burrow Shrieker.  This combo is incredibly difficult to stop unless you get quanta screwed somewhere along the way.  Once your opponent is in the kill range, unburrow the Shriekers and proclaim your victory.
I made a another grabby deck. I've found it to be a bit more consistent than Will's immobow.

Here's the OE PU deck I created a few weeks ago (posted in the decks thread). Didn't test it too much, so it may need a little tweak
Yep, as Higs suggested, -1 Pend +1 PU gives it better quanta balance.

+ Yummy, yummy CC
+ Gives us a way to use unupped Flying Weapons (upped version is used by General and Lieutenant in decks like PU Titan and Flying Arsenic Stall)
+ Contains hax shield

- Rewind, Freeze, BB -- anything that doesn't destroy creatures outright, but does something weird to them :(
- Method of CC is a tiny bit less convenient, but at least it's reusuable

The capability of fielding 2 immobows and 2 nova decks greatly decreases our need for pills/pends.
