No. They've been able to salvage several novagrabbies for the last few rounds, so they definitely have more novas and grabbies saved up. Novagrabby is most likely what torb will play.

They had enough salvages from Round 7 to field a second one.

well, after playing around with scarabtal for a while, the only way I've found to consistently beat it and :time's other decks is to use monoaether (counters EQs and RTs). Sadly, we don't have a heck of a lot that can straight up counter scarabs except for chaining dims. The only other thing I can think of is to outrush it, but a straight up rush would fall victim to the other possible decks.

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61t 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 61v 620 622 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 63a 8pu

If we go mono-aether against :time, I think that leaves us with 3 dims for all of our remaining decks.

Double bonebolt seems fine against fire. What deck are you referring to as their one counter?
I believe they were referring to a FSS.
Just throwing this out there, Bonewall > Fahrenheight.

If we stick a random fractal into Bonebolt there should be a very decent chance to OTK/2TK.

You're right. Bonebolt definitely has a decent chance against FSS. Possibly >50% depending on the build.

UPDATE: UT and I just had a strategy session in irc since no one else cared to join. Here is a summary of what we came up with.

:fire = 2x bonebolt with fractal
-previously discussed

:death = devtal (to non-Lt/Gen) and Fire stall (to Lt/Gen)
-we figured that they will use the SS stall against us again, and it works much better with upped cards, so an easy counter to that is firestall
-with their grabbow gone (might have more?), devtal should be able to beat all of their unupped decks

 :entropy = grabbow
-grabbow is win for us

 :darkness = poisonbolt
-expecting grabbow here, but could see PU dragons as well. This seems like a logical counter to both. But open to other ideas

 :time = mono-aether
-should beat everything they can throw at us, but needs further testing. While I hate using 6 dims against a weak opponent, beating them this round means another easy win next round.

 :underworld = EQ Phase dragons
-wondering how functional their immonova deck might actually be (if at all), so the low-risk play is to use EQ. They also have a lot of CC, so Phase dragons are probably better than grabbies. Open to other ideas, but this seems like the low-risk, high reward play.

Obviously the event card can change things pretty drastically, but I think this is a good starting point.

If we go mono-aether against :time, I think that leaves us with 3 dims for all of our remaining decks.
6. We have 12 in the standing vault. Probably gonna bring some against UW then, and hope they don't bring Gravy Shield. Heck, might as well bring Spider+Fractal there. It's more practical there than against Time (especially considering that dangerous Quicksand+Procrast deck), and Lightnings would be very good against Time to either kill off few Ghosts in a denial deck or slow down their Fractal in Scarabtal.

If we stick a random fractal into Bonebolt there should be a very decent chance to OTK/2TK.
Yep.
In all honesty, we should've BoneBolted them a lot more in the past. They have one deck left that can beat it, but it's not a guaranteed win, especially if we add offense.
Obviously the event card can change things pretty drastically, but I think this is a good starting point.
Yep, these are the obvious picks at first glance. Things aren't getting much more complex this late in War, as there's very little room for surprises.

woops, for some reason I was thinking EP and Eva's decks were switched. Anyway, not sure if spidertal is best against UW because of pandas, OEs, other CC, fog, and wings (do they have a gravy shield?). If :time uses quicksand + procrast, monoaether is still better because all you need is 1 pill or pend, and you can refresh your dims every 3 turns. It's a boring game, but a hard counter. scarabtal is capable of beating monoaether because of the 2 deflags and creature swarm, but that would take some cruel RNG. Not sure what cards jen-i would up though. in the past it's been deflags and fog, maybe she'll up some scarabs?

Azure Wings? (We can stick a lot of shields in that deck)

If not we can salvage entropy pillars off entropy and do a 3 or even 4 way split panda dragons with aether mark. (I question the need for a sanc stall.)

for UW or :time?

wings and pandas fail to scarabtal, so I am assuming you mean UW.
