A note about the pure rush against Fire: if you can bring a couple Lightnings to sideboard, that would let us pwn any potential counter-rush that has Golems. Other than that, it's easy to build: Spirit, Arsenic, Lycan, max out Novas and Grabbys, mainly use Phase Spiders on the Aether side, but some PU's are good too.

With that, it's half past 1am and I gotta get sleep for work. Might be able to get on a bit before the deadline.

FYI Higs, we currently only have 6 deflags in our vault. We can only salvage 1 from sevs, and maybe 2 from my grabbow that lost last round...

I'm afraid Mummytal is a no go.  Without Upped Mummies, the speed is practically cut in half, making it very easily beatable by Speed Poison and the like.  That deck I believe will cause a problem regardless of what deck I use...unless it's Panda Dragons, but that's far too easily defeated by both EQ and their Miracle Stall.  I'm basically back to square one.

The idea is then to take high probability wins against weaker teams and take the best we can against the stronger ones I guess. Let's just hope we make some good reads and roll with it. We can't always come up with a solution, especially with a dwindling vault.

Previously I was using -2 Pends, +1 Mummy, +1 Fractal which is what caused it work too slow.  Unfortunately now I'm using a crap load of Pends and the deck is more RNG dependent...but it beats Speed Poison consistently pretty much every time.  I really don't know what else I could substitute in here for the Event Card.  Maybe more Mummies and Fractals or Poisons, but I really don't know for sure.

EDIT:  Sigh...nevermind.  Now I'm going on a massive losing streak.  This is driving me insane.

It loses handily to RT Earth and is disadvantaged against earth's novagrabby, but I guess I'm at peace with my reads. Nobody else has come up with any solution to earth, and nobody else wants the RTs, so here we go I guess.
Should almost always win against a 46-card immortal, even if it includes EQs. It also performs well against the gravity duo. More testing if #aether is dead, I guess.

Counters Poison rush.  Counters Grabbybow.  They could string together a Frogtal from their Salvages against us last time, but even then we have the advantage.  Fear of Devtal prevents their Firestall from hitting us (and it'll probably go to Earth too).  The Spider and Dim Shields are sorta random; idk what else to use in their places without potentially putting a drain on our Pillar/Pend pool.

EDIT:  The mouse has spoken.  This deck has a chance of even beating Firestall :O

Pika's disclaimer: Provided that we draw more shields than they have Deflags.

If they try to save quanta for Bolt OTK, they should lose because they get outrushed. If they try to Bolt Dragons, then they're forced to hold back their own Dragons so we don't PU them. If we play it smart, we'll almost always have more Dragons than Bolts, and shields block Fahrenheit.
