A simple, but effective deck based on PU Azure Dragons. Rather quanta-intensive and prone to Earthquake, but it does fairly well against CC that's not on a stick. Fog Shield for extra hax.

Our take on Scrambled Shriekers. More CC or denial (depending on whether it uses Lightnings or Silences), but way less damage potential because we don't get the luxury of Graboids with an Entropy mark. Still a rather weak choice for us

An old favourite, tweaked for better stability. Wish we could have gotten a second Skull Shield here, but that's OK. Different sources of damage (TU Arsenics, Mummies, or opposing creatures) makes for a more versatile deck. Versions for Lt./Gen. play are even more stable due to the ability to use upped Flying Weapons, but using Nova softens the blow from Discords and Devourers.

I'm pretty much gone today, I see that I'm up against . This is one of the two or three matchups that I didn't have time to organize. Once that's organized, I will try to take a look at their recent salvages/losses and see if they can throw something tricky at us. They're on a huge roll from last round.

Some key points from this afternoon's IRC discussion:

Against Darkness, we're thinking of bringing a large Sanctuary stall with Holy Light, Miracle, Lighting, Lobo, Dim Shields, and TU. Lightning creatures with 5 or fewer HP, Lobo creatures with harmful abilities and/or Momentum, TU and Holy Light the Voodoo Dolls if they run Accelervoodoo, and stall with Dim Shields and Miracles. That should take care of most decks, and with a larger amount of pillars/pends in an ideal split, it should be able to resist the effects of Earthquake. Permanent control is not too much of a problem, as we have too many permanents to Steal/Deflag, Darkness can't run Pulvy properly, and BE is taken care of by a well-placed Lightning/Lobo/Holy Light.

Against Fire, we're testing out a mono-Aether (6 Pillars, 6 Pends, 6 Dim Shields, 6 Lightnings, 3 Lobo, 3 Dragons) in hopes that it will be able to crush any incoming Immorushes that come up -- even the version with EQ and Phoenix. Lobo + Lightning puts a stop to Phoenixes, and a single Lightning takes care of creatures like Lava Golems and evolved Graboids. Careful timing of Dim Shields is key, though.

Will's words of wisdom: "I figured out that holding off on playing Phase Shields until another Phoenix appears is the way to ensure wins. Or even then when you don't have a Lobo and Lightning all set. That's why I say that you shouldn't play Dim Shields until you see a Phoenix. Usually if one gets Deflagged that way you can replace it with another. The only way I can see this deck possibly beating us is if they bring 4 or more Deflags. And that's just because it increases the chance of a Deflag to a Lobo earlier on."

Against Entropy, initial theorycrafting suggests that we take Immophoenix. We still need to test a bit more to come to a conclusion, though. Mono-Aether will extra pillars/pends works hilariously well against Scrambled Shriekers.
