MA vs Dark domin: 6-4 (If we draw 2-3 dims in top 12 cards with quanta, it's usually gg. If we don't and instead draw all the rush, still pretty strong. Be sure to not playpillars unless needed; 6 is more that enough to play a card each turn)
MA vs Nymphcord: 7-3 (they're to klutzy to beat our damage usually)

Same drill as last time: let's start with analysis (even more helpful this time since EC encourages mindgating) and then document testing. Does anyone have any suggestions to add here?

I know last time we missed out a lot on predictions, so we must be sure to not emphasize the worst case scenarios in terms of vault management. We can't really fathom the intricacies for each team, but attempting the surface might help decide just what's left in vault. As vaults get smaller, we're bound to get this stuff right!

Gravity:

Funnily enough, Gravity seems pretty predictable at this point to me. Which shouldn't be true, since as much as 100 cards of their vault might still be hidden (and I'm pretty sure there's a grabbow there somewhere). Their Catatitans seems uncounterable for Water unless they were hiding an RT splash deck or keeping a dark domin (the latter seems unlikely tho as it should've been better vs us, but dd might've just not tested it). BB Splash from their Earth stall, maybe with pulvy holds strong vs all of Light's options. Time has been countered in the past by Death Duos, so Deathrush might be coming here to beat their expectations of DBH. Fire is very hard for gravy tho, best option I see here is a high offense Gravytal. That still leaves the usual suspects of DBH and Grabbow for us, so testing should be straightforward.

Spoiler for Entropy:

Entropy seems to be losing all of the unconventional decks... maybe they didn't have many to start with? That does give them several expected archetypes, especially the usual suspects of Grabbow/DBH/Mono. I expect Dark Domin for Light as it takes care of most expectations from light if it keeps enough offense/steals, and grabbow for Water. Time will prolly get something with strong PC/Rush, so Dark Domin might come here with a mono for Light. Aside from all the confusion with those, I have no idea what they'll send vs Life. But I can expect that they'll prolly switch from CP Psions. In which case we test vs Grabbow, DBH and Dark Domin.

Spoiler for Air:

Air has been terrorizing Time with nymphs, which will probably prompt RTs from them. So I'd expect a rushy mono here, maybe even Sofrees? They should have multiple Sofrees though, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility. For Earth, perhaps something with Wings? It's pretty iffy since Earth still might have tricks up their sleeve. Nymphs seem like a clear choice for death, and paper does have 3 of those. I'd expect sancstall to come out as a clear answer to Fire, maybe dark domin if they really don't have a sancstall? That still leaves the powerful choices of Sofree Mono or Dark Domin for us, both somewhat equally likely. My fear is that Sofree will be coming this round at us, but they can still try dark domin if they feel it has no counter from us.

Spoiler for Death:

Death's Dimfractal is pretty strong vs Light; with a proper composition it can serve as a perfect counter to whatever they field. For Air, they still need to deal with Nymphs; Sancstall w/ reflective, perhaps? Earth's prolly lost immortal, so they have no issue with charging in using a rush there. But darkness is tricky, since SoP Vamps seems to hardcounter all Death has. Maybe BoneFireBolt stands the best chance.

That doesn't leave the stall options for us. I'd expect rushes, maybe including SoSac. Not sure which build is most likely vs us, but I'd say we need to focus on speed more than their stall.

Couldn't concentrate on matchups, so started light tests.

Aether grabbow vs Gravy Grabbow: RNG dependant 6-4. Ours is faster, but it really depends on draws. Deflags over Lightnings would help, need to see how much they help vs DBH in live testing

Alright, analysis doesn't seem to be the most efficient method on our part. I will still try doing it though, to get a better grasp of opponent's mindsets. This thread still functions as a base for testing, so please post all test results here!

vs Air's Mono SoFree. 6-4, a bit of luck on my side.

vs Air's Dark domin, 3-4. Same theme as last time.

I expect Air will switch strategies vs us now to something that can counter a Dark-Domin counter. Maybe SoFree or Sancstall? The more I think about it, the more likely Sofree seems. I'll test AM duo with Pandas.

MA is strong, but the grabbow is consistently a turn or two faster thanks to Disco.

Spoiler for Earth:

Earth is in a tough spot because even the weaker teams, Death and Light might be able to hardcounter them using wings. So I expect wings workarounds there. Entropy has lost its stally options, so Immortal's remains might be used vs them, or perhaps some other stally deck. Or at least, that's Earth's threat, which should prompt pugons/grabbow from entropy which is easy pickings for RT Duo. I'm unsure about who'll be receiving the Denial grabbow from Aether and Darkness; it's their best deck, but darkness might be able to get the upped hand using Siphonary. So I'd focus on beating the Denial Grabbow.

Spoiler for Fire:

Fire's vault is still in pretty good shape but man, they prolly wish they had more immos. All teams they face this round seem like great targets for immo, but that might depend on testing. Gravity seems really weak to their CC/Wings duo, which might prompt Catatitans. Fire prolly has to respond with an immo or RT Splash. Same goes for Air, although here RT splash seems much more resilient. Grabbow is also an option vs these. Entropy's offense is really resilient vs Fire's CC, even RT; so I don't think anything but Immo will work here either gah. So we're prolly looking at a trinity of Immo, RT Splash and Mono for these 3 teams. Immo-purify seems like a really powerful option vs death, but they might go for firestall here too. I honestly think death will end up suiciding here, but Fire doesn't know that. Which leaves Dim fractix and denial immo for us, but dim fractix seems more potent for them in general. We need to be able to beat that, and hopefully preserve a decent winrate vs Disco.
