Given that we like EA for our shields, let's keep EQ as well (if we can). EQ and deflag are the only PC cards we can use with an aether heavy deck (steal is too slow.)Also, do you want 3 dune scorpions + 3 time pendula---or 2 scorpions and 4 pendula? It depends on whether you use the pendula upped or not, but I favor the latter since a single pendula takes 5 turns to get the quanta for the first scorpion to play which is what you really want to get the poison started--each additional poison is nice but not as crucial. So with more time pendula in the deck, you are more likely to get 1 in the opening hand and be ready to play a scorpion in the first 4 turns. It's still a gamble, but having a scorpion in the opening hand is something you actually don't want since it's a dead card for at least 3-5 turns, so only taking 2 of them is OK. Also, more pendula = more quanta generation (probably ) which will speed the time to getting miracle ready.
