Essentially, Fire has the best chances if they combine 4 EQ (3 from this Event + 1 from the Reinforcements event) with creature spam.

My concern with the new deck is that EQ will go solely pends, which severely diminishes our fire quanta for MPs. I think 4 or 5 pills is probably good.

True. I believe that the AI prefers to target Pends before Pillars with EQ and Deflags anyway, so that shouldn't change the testing too much.

I noticed that with the current split doesn't produce as much Fire quanta as the deck would like

Essentially, the more creatures Fire can cram into their Novagrabby, the more difficult it will be for us to survive their rush and launch the Fractix in response.

Salvage: 2 Lightning, 4 Nova (we'll want to take Novas to give us a Novagrabby option for Round 17 when we win against Fire's deck, and Lightnings are always good)
Event: 3 Lightning (6), 1 Phase Spider (3) (Utility cards that also work nicely in a Novagrabby as well as in Fractix)
Convert: 5 Aether Pend -> 5 Aether Pillar

Would it be more efficient to salvage 6 novas (or 5 + 1 lightning), and get 4 lightnings from event card? This means no spider, but 1 more splash for our novagrabby. Although, I feel like the novagrabby would only be semi-functional...

5 Nova + 1 Lightning from salvage and 4 Lightning + 1 Freeze/Chaos Seed (due to the "card cost must equal 9" rule) from Event could be a possibility.

Provided that we win against Fire's Novagrabby and make it to Round 17, we can salvage Graboids and various splash cards from them.

Maxing out Lightnings is a must. Half the games I don't get to Fractal at all, but still win. Nevertheless, I could go with 2 Fractals and still be good, but 3 gives me a good chance to draw one in those games when I get lots of quanta and less MP's. Going 3 Deflags is very tempting, as Dagger and Fog are what could give her a win, but we're operating on the bare minimum.

Went 8-2 against the NovaGrabby pika posted, btw. Losses were indeed to Fog+Dagger.

I've contemplated using normal Phoenixes, but the higher cost makes it too slow. Just know that we do have other options than Fractix :>
