Wings deck for Higs vs. Earth should be a pretty easy win without too much at stake. (No PUs needed).
With upped Sky Dragons -- win! :D

pika, you said you want another steal, why not just add 1 and make a 31-card deck?

Also, did we make any progress on the :fire matchups?

After some testing with a 4-Steal version of Devtal, I found that it just ended up clogging my hand too often. I can make do with 3 Steals, but it just means that I'll have to play the SS/EQ match-up with a high level of proficiency.

:fire I'm considering Poisondial against Napalm, since they can play Fractix now. If it does well against NovaGrabby too, it's a great choice. Other than that, BoneBolt is our best tool against Fire, but I'd probably prefer to play just one this round: we can't afford to lose both.

The BoneBolt we used twice against Fire last round does kill anything they have. The lone loss we got was just.. well, the most fantastic case of RNG hate yet.

Good, I'm glad you agree on Poisondial because that's what I was considering myself.  I also agree with the one Bonebolt this round, but we'll have to be careful because it's likely that our third deck will be able to counter either a rush or a FSS, but not both.  Might need to do a bit of prediction on that end.

I know this means fairly little, but Napalm and majofa have yet to use FSS in any of their matchups. I could definitely see majofa using it because of upped miracles, but based on the first 9 rounds, Dogg is technically more likely to use it. I think their other decks would benefit from majofa's 3 upped cards more than FSS.

For fire, it's a complete lottery against us. We don't get any ups in any of our matches, so they might as well bring the decks that they can use maximally given the # of ups they can use. If I had to guess off the top of my head, I would say:

Napalm = fractix (grabbow #2)
majofa = grabbow (EQ golems #2)
Dogg = FSS (EQ golems #2)

They might be able to do some other type of aether or death duo based on salvages, but not sure how effective they would be against us.

Why we shouldn't be using Poisondial on Napalm, and instead just make a standard Bonebolt with Poisons

TL;DR: Unupped Sundials are a clunky 2-card combo (Nova + Sundial) in exchange for a 1 turn stall, Plague + Bone Wall is powerful enough if they show up together, and Fire's rushes against us have 3 Deflags, which effectively negates Poisondial's win condition (Arsenics) since the Phoenixes are more likely to break through all the shields before the residual poison damage can claim a win.

Quanta balance may be a bit off, but it should do. Upgraded Pillars and Pends because I can't really get a good read on whether or not they have EQ. If anyone has a good Mindgate on them, please share.

This wins by deckout against no-damage variants of Immortal, has a very good chance at shutting down Immortals that pack damage (yes, even Stone Dragons aren't too much of a problem when there are Dim Shields, Fog Shield, Recluses, Shockwaves, and OE in the deck), and can even stand a chance against Scrambled Shriekers (provided that a shield comes in before Discord scrambling wrecks your quanta base for a few turns, and the odds get even better if they have no Momentums left).

Wins against the mono and Sancstall, but we stand a chance of losing if Scrambled Shriekers carries EQ. Now with a better quanta balance and EQ protection with a four-way split.

OK, so this is so very EQ-proof. Jen will be packing 4 EQ and likely has only 3 Nova, 1 Fog, and 1 Deflag left. I highly doubt that he can fit Chimera/Catapult into their deck, so just be careful of those EQs and the likely lone Deflag.

Standard Novagrabby -- let's hope we can take down majofa's deck with this.

When facing Sancstall, don't play Dragons unless you have extras in hand, and only keep a maximum of 2 on the field at a time (until you can OTK); 2× RoF combo to wipe out all our Dragons isn't too likely to show up, but we lose if it does.

Arsendial is too inefficient to use against Fire, especially since they can Deflag all 3 of our Arsenics in their rushes. We would then be left without a win condition and they would outrush before the residual poison damage can do its job. Also, both Bonebolt and Arsendial use Arsenics, Bone Walls, and Lightnings; if RNGfail occurs, we're losing the same key cards either way.
I'm doing science, and I'm still alive.

Okay, is that preliminary?

Fine.

All decks after this post will be considered final and will be added to the OP.

If the preliminary decks are final, just give a confirmation and I'll likewise file them.
