I want to propose we base our card choices based on an actual deck idea--so if we are taking flying weapons, morning stars...post what you think a decent deck would look like with these cards.  I know this is more work, but we don't get any mistakes from here on out-- every card we take should be a card that helps us win next round. 

This may mean taking pillars from other elements since some decks just won't do it with pendula alone.   A flying weapon deck may need mark of air, but pillars to play the weapon itself (e.g., :light for MS, :darkness for vampire dagger.)

That being said, we have the option to pick up 15 :fire cards so far, so we ought to be thinking about a decent :fire / :aether deck, possibly with our phoenices.

Could you please help me out with some of the cards we salvage from Artagas's win the flying weapons are basically a must...  but i don't know what to do with the other 4 cards... right now we're using them on Morning Glories, but i can't think of a good aether/light flying weapon deck.

yeah...  if we are going to use the phoenixes, i think they will be used most effectively if they are upgraded...  so save them for ICB or Dragoon?

in case you guys hadnt heard, i got swept...bad matchup lol. and i think the fire spirits are too slow...discarding them is a good idea
I said it won't work like original with fire pillars. We shoud not discard them, instead we should salvage fire pillars so we could make it work properly.
It was hard to make that deck better without all cards needed.
should i switch out 1 Morning Glory and 2 Firebolts for 3 Burning Pillars?

what fog shields?  i was looking for them, but i only saw wings

Edit:  just double checked.  no fog shields in any of the opponent's decks.

Yes, Phoenixes would be nice.  Likewise, me and icb can also support Flying Weapon decks well, if needed.

I also want to keep that Fractal Pest deck I used.  That was fast.

As long as you don't worry about obvious player playing obvious deck each round--we'll have to see who your matchup is before making the call IMHO.

1) use upped Animate Weapons (ICB or possibly Dragoon1140)
2) use :air mark (but without light pillars, how do we get MG up?)
3) we use a nova deck (6 novas = 6 :air to power Flying Weapon)

1. I'm starting to agree...  Morning Glories combined with aether would be a beyond amazing combo, not to mention, an auto-win against fire stalls (using Reflective Shield), but it just wont fit into our decks...  i can start testing and try to find a good one but it would be hard.  so still undecided until we find a good deck or we run uot of time.Tested it and couldn't find a way it could work...  i've tried everything i could think of and nothing.  For now, i'm going with the first option for Artagas's match.  the immortal weapons do give us cnotrol, but we can't perform the amazing light/fire combo...  it just doesn't work with Aether

2. I don't think we should reuse any decks until last few round, or ther team would expect it.  however, i think we should grab them while we can.  so i agree with the first option for Dragoon1140's

3. i love the choice of cards from your win.   nothing to add or subtract.

Mrpaper won 2-0!  need to think of cards to salvage from there and still need to discard 4 more from mine.

Also, there is no way possible dragoon could run this flying morning glory deck without all the flying weapons upped.  maybe we can think of a variant using only 3 animate weapons, 4 MG?
