in case you guys hadnt heard, i got swept...bad matchup lol. and i think the fire spirits are too slow...discarding them is a good idea

I said it won't work like original with fire pillars. We shoud not discard them, instead we should salvage fire pillars so we could make it work properly.
It was hard to make that deck better without all cards needed.

We are saying we don't need 12 Fire Spirits like we currently have.  6 is much better, also, they will not expect us to have taken 12 FS!

Yes 12 is probably too much, I thougth we have only 6.

Lost 2-0, I am so pissed.
He was using 6 devourers , time shields and darkness and time dragons ;he always had 2-3 devourers in the beginning and I coudnt deny his quanta fast ,and could not fractal vampires later to heal me from his dragons.
I stole his shield twice but he stole it back.
He won the toss both times I think  so he used his devourers first, not much I could do.

First game was close actually, second game I had no chance from the begining.
I am sorry i have failed, but I think he had pretty good deck, and even better starting hands-  I am not sure that I could have countered his quanta denial with any other deck we were using in this round.

Someone please post my deck to results thread, I am going to bed now.

We are currently 3-5, only losing six cards because me and Artagas got to use the Event card.

Another consideration is using earthquake instead with mark to rob him of quanta (which I *highly* doubt he would expect from aether) but if he got a shield up we wouldn't be able to do anything about it--it could cripple him long enough for our dragons to finish him off though.  And lastly, though I haven't seen him use one of these yet, he may consider duo with , allowing for steam machines + deflags +/- rage potions.  That'd be tough for us since the creatures can't be killed with 1 lightning and the deflags would eat our shields.

Sadly it was me...I could have forced you to use that deck by posting it under your name in the Round 1 deck thread.  Oh well....

Gz paper , and grats to all the winners in this round.
We should just focus on salvaging some usefull cards to improve our decks now.
