I'll keep updating all 6 opponents. But this data is mostly useful for round#1 only since we haven't seen any of our opponent's vaults. We need to check our opponents' opponents in order to properly tap into their state of mind. For example, we could think that team time could use graboids against us but maybe they would rather use it on a different team which would be much more beneficial for them in which case we should consider that deck "less likely".

Alright, first round is for scouting. I wouldn't send our new decks out this time, would rather stay a bit traditional while maintaining effectiveness.

Also, hate this Event Card, but... Maybe we should bid 2 pendulums and convert salvage. One card bids are going to be common for generals not interested in a relic (most), and two card bids will be common from generals that would like a relic but won't spend many cards. We have a nice chance to get a relic along some other teams, while if someone spends more than 2 cards on this, well... his choice. Ups are nice, especially with our Vault choice.

As for matchups... Life is going to be a mindgame: Will perfectly knows the advantages we have. Devtal crushes most of their decks except those who are built to counter it. If I know him, he'd be more worried about lightnings than Dims here. He will probably use a stall, possibly with Sanctuaries. Maybe the light stall would be a good idea here, since he's likely to employ heavy healing and we'll need some punch. I don't know, Will's going to try and be unpredictable. Beware Adrenavamps as that can work.

Earth is tough due to EQs. They can't really know what our Vault is, but I kind of expect the worse. I'd use a graboid EQ RT deck against us. Maybe the earth stall with EAs to protect our pendulums?

Air is a nice matchup. I would say that they will try a fire duo, or a darkness duo. Might go FFQ Hope too. Fractix with the lobos?

Death is... tough. .-. I seriously have no idea on what to play here. Maybe the light stall.

Entropy is possibly even tougher, they'll likely expect a grabbow and prepare a discord CC deck. Well... I don't see many alternatives in any case.

Time is weak to Bonebolt, but has proven capable of killing it. Devtal?

At this point, I am likely to bid 1. There will likely be a few to bid 2, and 1 maybe 2 that will bid 3 or more. I don't want to toss more cards out of the vault for absolutely no gain.

Plus, whoever wins the relics is going to be a prime target to get attacked by support teams. Which is one reason why I think we may go x2 defense in round 2, but we will see.

Will analyze matchups later. One thing I definitely do not want to do at this point is to send cards of the same element as our opponent.


UPDATE: posted my initial thoughts in chat. Probably won't spend any more time on it tonight. We need to look at the initial vaults from last war and figure out what deck ideas we can expect from our opponents.

Also, I moved the roles around a bit, so make sure you know your matchup and test your deck as needed.

It's probably too late for that, and I tested against entropy not air, but I think my matchup is doomed. Pestal fails in testing and reverse testing against deflag splash, which is one of the most likely choices against us.
