Aether may not win this War, but we will be the best sports about it.  As far as I know, no Aether member watched spectate for the purpose of gathering info on another team's private dueling, and I'm proud of us for not doing that.

Let's use this thread to say nice things about other teams.  I'll kick things off with complimenting every single player in the War.  (I'm making this thread in Round 7, so excuse anything relating to placement in War)

   Pervepic - You made Council proud, and you made a name for yourself outside of T50 for sure.
   QuantumT - The many debates you've had in chat were quite interesting to watch, good job in the War.
   Chum3 - Your team required strategy, so I'm sure you helped.
   Truddy02 - I haven't heard of you yet, but you have an important position!
   Gyrodiot - Some decks were very well built, so good job there.
   Dogg - Sure, you have a useless position, but at least you were on team Air.
   Klaymore - You guys seemed to have salvaged well, so nice work.
   Istari - I'm sure your substituting skills were needed at some point, great work.
   glowing ice - Gotta love the rookies!  Great job being active in War.

   Kael Hate - I hear your table-making abilities are unmatched.
   Kuroaitou - Amazing guy you are.  Sure, you didn't win every match, but you represented Darkness well.
   TheonlyrealBeef - Ah, torb.  Your wit is unmatched and I'm sure you did work.
   kobisjeruk - Definitely a vocal member of your team, nice job.
   3D House of Beef - You are too humorous for regular words.  Thus, fujimamakakas.
   Lokiburn4 - I heard you liked Darkness, and it looked like you represented it well.
   guy_fawkes - Awesome avatar is awesome, good job.
   plastiqe - Epic player playing epic matches, nice work being a Dawkness member.
   9270984 - You came in a rookie and came out a man...ly rookie.  Good work.

   MrBlonde - Sure, I didn't make your team, but you still made Death awesome.  Great job.
   Malduk - You are arguably the most loving of Death, and it shows in your posts.  Good work.
   Mastermind79 - Death requires strategy, so I'm sure you did work.
   Smuglapse - Your Smuggleness proceeds you.  Great job in your duels.
   Xuru - I don't know you much, but nice job anyway.
   Nume - You too, I'm not well aware of you, but I'm sure you did a great job.
   Shantu - Neat name.  Nice job playing well.
   Corrum - Great job being such a good sport on team Death, keep it up.

   Terroking - This time you could count cards!  Great job leading Earth.
   Demagog - Sorry to see you go.  Regardless, your PVP patience is unmatched.
   Skydaemon - The strategy of a triple suicide was... unique, but good work nonetheless.
   Dreggs - The vault needed to be managed, and you're the one to do it.  Nice job.
   coinich - Very interesting to see you on Earth, but fantastic work.
   Korugar - I don't know much about you, but I hear your cool.  Good job.
   Legit - Your salvaging was legit.
   $$$man - I didn't see you much this time around, but great job anyway.
   TimerClock14 - In a rookie, out a man.  I'm glad you love the community so much.

   Zeru - Great job in the beginning of the War.  Your predicting skills are that of God... or of spectate, depends.
   Amilir - Great job being an awesome PVP'er, maybe we will see you as General in War #3.
   10 men - Nice job stepping up as a T50 player to attend War.  Good work.

   Sir Valimont - Sure, you are arguably the most controversial player in the whole War, but you do have some great points.
   xkelevra - Sorry about the whole mispronouncing of your name in that video.  Good job.
   Snoweb - Way to do work for your team.  Great work.
   vagman13 - Dandy substitute you are.  Nice job.
   Nyma - People already compliment you as-is.  Hmm... your name backwards is Amyn?

I joined the war halfway through, so I don't know too much about most of the people's position in war.

But I do have to say, the people who I did meet on the battlefield for the most part were very nice and sportsmanlike, special thanks to those in the UW tourney, who gave me their support, and especially to ji412jo, who recommended me this spot in Team Aether .

And of course, thanks everyone on team aether for the warm welcome into the team ^^.

It's been a blast everyone, hope yall had fun too ^^

I really enjoyed the War in general, owing in large part to each of my teammates and the teamwork they employed in all phases of the War.  I especially want to thank gocubbies1212, Toimu13 and EvaRia for helping to keep the cards/decks/vault situation manageable and in deck-testing without which we would never had made it as far as we did.  This proved to be crucial in our success.  And thanks to Dragoon1140 for keeping us on the right track and in good spirits.

Outside of Team Aether, the players I interacted with most were my opponents.  And they certainly added to the fun and excitement of the event, so thank you all.

  Acsabi44 : our match was epic despite the record number of desyncs.  A sweat-dripping, heart-pounding start to the War.
  smiley56 : no match here, really.  He even EM'd me the second game. Great deck call.
  Corrum : an exciting match--any match that comes down to 1 hp is just a matter of a coinflip.  Never thought I'd be typing "purify FTW" either.  Couldn't ask for more in an opponent here. 
  Dreggs : you made an excellent prediction with your counter-deck.  It came down to a single card (lobotomizer) deciding the matches here.  Well-played.
  edunavas : I understand the vault situation largely decided this one--still I did not foresee dune scorpions and really had to sweat how to play a fractal deck with that guy in play.
  Acsabi44 : I expected a rewarding rematch and got one from my firey friend.  Down to the last turn in 3rd game again.  Wow!  Hope you don't hate PU too much after this War is through.    Great discussion of the matches afterward.

everyone on team underworld has been amazing, despite the disadvantage.  they have all worked hard to get on the team, they are making good decks...  I cant say how impressed i am by them.  great job team underworld!

Edit:  Team is out so...

great job in war team water, it takes courage to still fight in war when your general has to leave.  Nils did a good job as general, taking essence's place and upholding team 's reputation.  It is hard to be out of the war so soon.  I just want you guys to know that I would have been mad if we were out so soon, however, you guys are better and keep your temper.  You can even hold up your head and say it was fun, wishing the other teams goodluck.  You guys have also made a great impression for team and i am, yet again, impressed.  I hope everyone, including myself, follows your example.  Amazing job Team !
