I say the skill cost should be 1.  I mean, if anubis is 1 and isn't gamebreaking, this obviously could too.  Or the skill costs could be switched so this is 1  and anubis is 3.

Actually, buffing the ability cost to :aether can be a solution (obviously after a nerf to attack/hp), then you nerf Anubis' quint to :aether :aether :aether and buff its cost/atk/hp.
I think that should fix it, because right now, Turquoise Nymph looks better as a high cost Phase Spider with a situational ability. I mean, you can use it to rush (along with PU), and it isn't that good even for that.

What about this:
"- This ability can be used on the turn Turqouise/Aether Nymph is Summoned, and can be used twice in future turns."??

Other than that, I might see changes to Anubis as a good idea too.
Though I've had a good use of this Nymph together with my Purple Nymph to make it impossible for my opponent to remove the healing  ;)

Simply removing summoning sickness from Aether Nymph would be an ideal solution in my book.  It would give it that absolute edge over Anubis to justify the rarity and the increased cost.  I'm 100% behind that idea.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I'm glad for this buff. It can survive so much more now and not just always be killed right after it's come into play.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

still gets targeted for high attack and nymph status. Lives through all bolts with 10 and under quanta, thunder bolt, rof and a couple attacks of fire buckler. I'd say this is more balanced. but closer to weaker than stronger.

Thunderbolt does 5 damage. It is the strongest unconditional single-target CC spell. If you're thinking of Thunderstorm, that was never a problem. Firstly, users of pump spells get over 10 quanta easily in time to kill this since it's insanely expensive as an attacker and takes a turn to use its ability (which costs as much as upped Quint). That extra turn isn't needed per se, but it's there. Shockwave, Rage Pot, Lightning.. all the most used CC spells kill it, and so does Elite Oty. Only scenario I see it helping is against Owl's Eye, and that's if they're not flying them and only have one out.

The change is aesthetic to me.

You are so right.  The need for another non-immaterial :aether creature is palpable, and would add greater diversity for synergies with other decks.  I hope it is only a matter of time, and hope further that it is a very short wait.
