Brainstorm idea: I think this should be a card. Silence, as in peaceful silence. It kind of contrasts to the noises of the forest ect, but this way life gets some control. It may be too powerful as a way of preventing any control to come to it's rush but...I think  needs something like this, a kind of non-control control.

I really don't like the idea of this card.

Especially in a immo/nova golem rush deck. Those decks are fast enough and not letting you play for 1 turn is pretty much game over.

aether has good cards already... they have one of the best shield in game, they got TUs, and mindgates to copy you whole deck
not to mention their renowned fractal

Fractal doesn't really count as an aether card to me... yes, it requires aether to play, but since it drains all aether quanta, it's rarely used in combination with aether creatures.  More often it's used to spam creatures of some other element.

I agree.  No pillars or pendulums for 2 turns against an oppenent using a nova/supernova powered rainbow rush deck with silence splashed in is kill.

(And that's only for 1 silence.  Opponent uses silence first turn.  You can't play anything.  Opponent deals a second turn of damage.  You play your pillars [assuming they aren't upgraded] and still can't play anything.  Opponent deals a third turn of damage without any response.) 

With the current setup I'm running or a jmizzle7 deck, that would be annihilation.  This in an average 6-7 ttw deck would effectively take on most decks.
