I'm still playing around with it, but this is my deck so far with Psion:

15 Aether Piller
6 Dimensional Shield
2 Fractal
6 Psion
1 Elite Phase Dragon (Won it on a HG spin )

All cards are un-upgraded except the Elite Phase Dragon. This deck has allowed me to have a much higher win percentage against HG, but I still get PWNED against Life, Gravity and water/aether Level 4's.

Any upgrade suggestions regarding this as well as modifications to this deck would be greatly appreciated.

It is extremely hard to make fractal psions viable.  Right now, 6x dim shields + 6x psion + 2x fractal + 1x EPD = 94 Aether quanta.  15 pillars + mark supports 80 quanta, so you're already stressed for quanta.  On top of that, fractal depletes ALL of your quanta (so it'll usually be more like 12-15 or more quanta) to play it.  FURTHERMORE, you're fractaling an aether creature, so you need to wait another turn to play them.  Not trying to rain on your parade or anything    Just, if you want to fractal psions, I'd take out the phase dragon and/or possibly go air mark and put in fog shields instead of dim shields...something along those lines because right now, it's going to be really difficult to get all of the quanta that you need.

I can think of mono counters to dim shield for nearly all elements

The first Aether counter to Dims came with Silence. Aether was already good at countering itself, and Psion doesn't do -that- much because it's easily Lobotomized. It did add another deck type that can do it; Fractal Psions, but it's not a competitive deck type. It's not terrible either though.

...however, the "counters" furball here is mentioning are of course not really close to it. PC remains the only actual counter. The rest have been overcome time and time again by good ol' Monoaether. Be careful when using the word "counter".
