In fact, I'll let you in on a little secret regarding Dream Catcher... if you Lobotomize a creature, whether it has an ability or not, that creature will have summoning sickness the next turn. What this means is that once DC casts Butterfly Effect on the first Micro Abomination he's played, that Micro won't be able to use BE. Then you just Lobo it again. Just make sure you do Lobo the first Micro in the sequence, because he'll always cast BE on that. Might seem dirty to exploit the mechanics like that, but considering how hard DC is for most decks, I think he deserves it.
Really? Holy hell, I didn't know that. That sounds like a very good strategy to use when fighting DC with RoL/Hope. BE Micro without summoning sickness is the cause of most of its losses.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Awesome weapon! Too bad I didn't choose it as my rare. Would have really helped with otyughs and schröinger's cats with boneyards.

I love this one card, it's so cheap and gets rid of some pesky critters, vampires and stuff, helps a lot.

i dont see when your really going to need to use the skill though...someone please give an example
There are a ton of creatures that aren't powerful for their damage but for their skills. I used this card to beat a player who was using Firefly Queens for his/her deck, used lobotomy before they could even spawn one firefly.
Another example is creatures like forest spirits, steam machines, etc. All these types of creatures have skills that for 1 or 2 quanta increase their damage and sometimes hp also. If you have enough fire quanta and have just 3 steam machines you are increasing your damage by 15 a turn, then 14 afterward (as it loses 1 charge a turn). That's enough to easily take out any player who is using miracle, stone skin, or the boosts from the arena.
Hope this helped :)

A scary weapon. In fact, it is the second weapon I would throw my lance on sight. The first one is Owl's Eye.

Depends on the meat of your attackers, though. Dragon/Toadfish (unupped) or Dragon/Crawler (upped) rushes can actually afford to ignore Lobotomizer's ability, especially if you aren't feeding Air quanta to the Toadfishes for creature control. Not that pure mono-Water fares that well against Aether, though, especially when Dims and immortal beings (Immortals and Phase Dragons, mostly) are involved XP

Unfortunately, the ace monsters in my deck are Puffer Fishes and Arctic Octopi. No Crawlers in my deck, and only put two Arctic Dragons.
