Such an evil evil evil card, haha. I always hope I can get out my Oty or Druid before this evil thing can rear its evil head.

You don't?

When damage from the creatures are less of a concern to you and creatures' skills are more of a concern, this card is the answer. When would you have this situation? I'll give you a clue: its element is Aether. That's not to say it only has use in one situation/deck but you got your example.

ok i guess your right. but when you use an aether Phase dragon deck it doesnt really make sense to use it unless there is a parasite or something that can poison you. Phase dragons are all immaterial so nothing can target it directly. i think it would be better if the skill could take away a permanents skill.

Wyrms, Forest Spirits, Pegasi, Fire Spirits, Lava Golems, and Graviton Fire Eaters are all widely used creatures that have active skills that can greatly increase their damage potential.

Lobotomizer can cripple these growth/ablaze/dive creatures by simply removing their skills.

Mono-aether doesn't necessarily use Phase Dragons; Phase Spiders are very cheap and are strong fighters. Lobotomizing Otyughs will protect your Spiders.

Also, Lobotomizer does not always have to work with Mono-Aether. Lobotomizer is great in many rainbow decks or duo decks, where it is still very useful.

For a mono-aether, Lobo can help by stopping Queens (or Oty's comboed with yards) from giving the opponent healing power, and it can slow down Malignant Cells doing the same.
It can stop Chrysa's from poisoning you (bypasses Phase Shield) and it can stop growers and blazers (in case of explosions).
It can stop Fallens from creating a destroying or thieving mutant.

Just a few examples. In a rainbow an Owl's Eye usually does these things better, but Lobo isn't bad either.

Not at all. Phase Dragons rock; so do Spiders. They just rock in different ways. Phase Spiders deliver very cheap, very fast damage, while Phase Dragons give huge, immortal damage. Phase Spiders make a more versatile and fast deck while Dragons give a more secure and bulletproof one.

ya, i could realy use this, i used to use a oty/ yard deack with  :death mark, and now that i use  :aether i realy need to work twards a REAL stratigy, currently i rainbow with queen and light dragons with a few paralel universes, although it gets some nods from pros and works pritty well, i realy should try to mono instead, since quanta pillarz dont work very well in a pinch. (byt it pwns devourerz withquicksand and life drain strategy, i tested it mahself) well, i have no clue why i even posted this, but, bia!
