An Aether card that owns!!!
I love it on Ray of Light, Pest or Vampires.

Okay, I have a few observations on this card.

I started a newbie using Darkness, which has Aether as the second element. I bought Fractal in the bazaar very early, and it's been a huge help.

Opponent is playing a water/death poison-spam deck? Fractal my one minor vampire and out-heal the poison long enough to win.

Opponent is beating me soundly by normal means? Let my devourers and obsidian pillars build up dark quanta, then Fractal my black dragon and lay down 7 of the reptiles in a single turn.

Dragon's already died when Fractal becomes useable? Use it on one of the devourers and then drain life a few turns later.

I've considered using Fractal on an opponent's virus a few times, but decided  it wasn't worth it. Not compared to the flock of black dragons powered by devourers tactic.

Fractal totally flushed my deck-closet.

I think I bought more small and midsized critter-cards than ever before just to be able to play (m)any elements fractal-rush.

Indeed. Consider though using it on a virus or retrovirus YOU cast, and you have a bone wall to eternity.
What i mean is....
Death pillars,
Retrovirus (works better upgraded )
Fractal.
Many Retrovirus
Bone Wall
Destroy all rertovirus (killin enemy creatures too if any are casted)
Works great.

I just made this deck and it seems really overpowered (might need a little tweaking to be optimal of course).

All you have to do to basically autowin is
--Get a measly 11 aether quanta--this is the ONLY true quantum requirement the entire deck has, the rest of the fractals and quints are more of a "just in case"
--Draw a Quintessence
--Draw a Leaf Dragon
--Draw a Fractal
--Draw a Hope
--Draw a Ray of Light

Quint a Leaf Dragon, Fractal a RoL and save at least one in your hand in case of mass damage, play Hope in two turns. Yeah there's things that can go wrong with mass damage, but I've managed to set it up in four turns before and it's basically invincibility + infinite life quanta as long as you get more fractals than they get mass damage spells. Thunderbolt would take care of some Blue Nymph and Alfatoxin problems.

It's kinda like unupped FFQ except you can make the leaf dragon immortal and use Fractal to save on heavy hitter cards. You really don't need the nymphs but they make it more fun when you can play six of them at once.

I managed to have 8 Jade Dragons in play on turn eight or something a couple times, other times I'd fractal a Green Nymph and play them all at once with the massive quanta pool.

It is a good idea but it gives you a crappy hand many times and before doing the combo you are dead.
Beta test it at tester. You might consider making it smaller and faster.

Great card.
I love to make fatality with help Fractal and Ball Lighting - by "empty" hand 1+8x5=45 dmg. Globally Fractal is useful always when You have enough quanta to summon creatures. Interesting solution are for instance Fractal + Physalia or + Vampire.

I HATE FRACTAL (doesn't mean its bad)
its a disgrace to the  element
ok because of this ONE card, countless great ideas have been shut down
in fact the new card, the green scorpion(or w/e the name is) is gettin nerfed
