Using this deck but subbing one monster from each for a steal, i managed to get an elemental mastery thanks to stealing Lumiel's Sanctuaryies and using dim shields. Great deck

If you already have the cards, splitting pillars and pends provides protection against earthquake.

Mono decks in general are strong, but some are definitely stronger than others. Aether has the advantage of dimensional shield and SoW as well as creatures which cannot be targeted by CC. But dim shield so their only protection and it is so fragile. Aether is also slow to start. The OP deck looks good though. Phase dragon and the quanta it uses, geez, no wonder it's more protection than offense.

I used this deck to farm level 4 for quite a while, but found a few things that could improve it in some ways:

Spoiler for Deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
808 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80a 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80d 80e 80f 80f 80f 80f 80f 816 816 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 81q 8pu

This is an upgraded version, but I imagine the unupped will work okay as well. Using only dragons as monsters, buffing them with SoW if there's a Gravity Shield or any other of those shields. Electrocutor is for momentum creatures and other annoying monster effects, and Thunderbolt is usually good to have until you get it, or for any other use (I've used it as a damage source as well). Make sure to check what you're playing against, however, before you use the SoW, because a Reflective Shield or Emerald Shield can easily kill you with 14/12 damage per turn.

For making it upped it's recommended to upgrade the pillars and pendulums first, as it won't work as great without lotsa quanta backing you up.

This deck was made for someone who has just started playing Elements. The MA FG killer has a separate thread and it used to use SoG's back when they didn't cost :life, and also healed for 5 no matter your mark. After the mark affinity patch, it started using SoSa's instead. After the cost change of all Shards it uses SoW's in place of those SoG's, which is your deck -1 Thunderbolt, -2 quanta sources, +2 SoW's and +1 Electrocutor.

The old version was tested for efficiency here, and did very well: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25609

You are correct about the upgrading order. For FG's it goes: Quanta sources -> Dragons -> Lobos -> Dims -> Shards

Aether is the prime Element present in all things, providing space, connection and balance for all Elements to exist.
Aether represents the sense of joy and union, and the ultimate potential of all things.

Sorry for posting in the wrong place, but I thought it was as good as any as the topic was about just what I'm using it for...

I modified it myself, though, starting from the version pictured on the first page, but as it's a powerful deck it's no suprise that it has been though of before (I never thought otherwise).

No biggie, this topic is ancient and deserves discussion. My first serious farming deck was an MA too x) I made tons of electrum beating up HB's.. it's a good thing I was able to move on to FG's before the AI got smarter and this deck's winrate dropped. However, now it's back since HB's have 50 less HP :D

That said, it can still be improved upon by using SoW's in place of Immortals, adding a Lobo or two, and readjusting the quanta balance. However, as mentioned, this topic is for the complete newbie, and they don't have rares.

Aye, this type of MA has been a classic deck ever since Phase Dragon was made immortal. It continues to be one of the strongest decks against all AI opponents and PvP alike.
