Kameda, xdude was suggesting an unupgraded generic mono-Aether deck. It's not supposed to be a speed deck; it's supposed to be an airtight, impenetrable deck with strong stalling elements (Dim Shields) and a strong immortal offense (the Dragons). In this speed deck, however, you are correct in that shields are not needed.

I was replying to the post above mine, not to xdude.
I think that pereira was talking about the SG's upped deck, not the unnuped one.

exactly.

i tried the upped deck and i lost a few times by a small difference.
i'm thinking of removing 1(or 2) thunderbolt, and add 2 (or 3) dim shields and another tower. what do you think?

A few times?? I really think you should test it a little more. Maybe the extra cards and the less number of Thunderbolts could make things runs a little slower, making your electrum farm (if it's that what you want) less efective.
