I believe you can write and read a poem, but you can only truly appreciate a song by singing and listening to it. And in this case, drinking to it!

Here is the link to my rendition of The Ballad of the Brawler's Brew. Please listen, and either read the lyrics along, or after. I'm sure you all want to see me make a fool of myself anyway. Oh, and if you want to drink along, you'll see when the points are to drink!

NB: I do NOT think drinking is a necessary part of this task at all, I am doing so mainly to show how it can function as a Drinking Song!

So, I play guitar, so i plan to write and sing this.
I was thinking a short verse for each of the elemental potions (antimatter, precog, black hole etc) and a short chorus that involves a small break for me to drink in.
I was going to video it, wrap a can of cider in some sort of elements-themed booze packaging, and try to drink it before the end of the song.

I hope I don't need many takes....

I haven't yet written about rage potion, luciferin, liquid shadow and nymph tears, and have ideas about them all, but do you think that would make it too long?

Liquid shadow: memory turns to darkness
Rage potion: bar fight
Nymph tears: find a nymoh in your lap, but she's already stolen your 'pillar'
Luciferin: best hangover prevention

To make it shorter you can include remaining potions in one verse singing that you're losing sanity or something like that

I sort of want to make this a wager against another Boss. I doubt anyone else will write the music and perform theirs, as well as show it 'works' as a drinking song.

What do we think, and who should I wager against? 19 hours to decide.
