[Round 1] Deck Builder + Forum Expert Task

How will you fight?

• The player would get to choose their element, and each element is to have two deck options, one called 'Speed' and another called 'Control'.
• The decks would be extremely diluted versions of classic deck archetypes, but all 40 card decks with no more than 4 of the 'combo' cards.
• The player would have to work out on their own that streamlining the deck to 30 cards would be best.
• The synergies in the decks would be diluted enough to give a sense of discovery when the player realizes how best to play the deck, and what cards work well together.

Love that plan, and having that as a description with 2 elements' decks (so 4 decks total) would be a really interesting read. Nice outside the box idea.
The hard thing will be getting the decks right so they go with the theme but are not too balanced / good

Personally giving non-optimized decks gives an opportunity for a new player to make it better themselves. The skills they'll learn would help them build other decks of their own.

Also feel like most of them can probably have their card limit pushed closer to 35 or even 40.

Yeah i would like them even less optimised, so that they contain the combos, but less obviously, so the player can feel like they 'discover' the combos in the deck. I likd the inclusion of spark in BW for that reason. Id say no more than 4 of any one card, 35-40 card decks and throw in a sword so they can use the weapon slot
