History of the Elemental Alphabet
Long ago, the kingdoms communicated, but had no way of keeping their communications recorded. Amongst the more known communities, oral dialects were fine, but in other shadowy kingdoms of loneliness and deceit, sought beings were often killed These creatures marked their territory, and over time different markings belonged to different territories. These Marks began to infuse stone with their power, and those became the first pillars. From the Marks, too, the general consonants of each creature were derived. And from the Marks the Elemental Alphabet was born.
