First:  I played a simple Neurotoxin deck.  I won, simple enough game.  He played a Nova/Graboid rush that fizzled out pretty quickly due to a lack of novas I think.

Second:  Didn't want to play the same deck because that would be predictable, I went with a life rush instead.  Big mistake, his Fractal Minor Phoenixes might've collapsed against Neurotoxin.  I might've won still if it werent for his Phase Shield.

Third:  He must've figured I didn't have anything to match that.  I really didn't, but went with Speed Poison hoping to beat Fractal.  Didn't though I was once again within a turn of winning or so.

Figured I'd do best to take a deck that does well generally in order to scope out my opponent's deck. Fine in theory, but I only got one Nova against his Dune Scorp deck before I died a slow death.
