Good games Smarty, there was certainly a lot of strategy involved in each one.

I was so nervous for my first match that I used the wrong deck, and noticed only halfway through the match.  I had intended to replace quite a large majority of these pillars with other cards, but had forgotten to do so before the game... Needless to say, I had about 70 quanta and nothing to spend it on!  Stupid mistake, but it definitely taught me a lesson.  D:

I didn't get very nice draws with this, but I managed to stave off Xuru's shriekers with Phase shields until I had enough damage on the table to make the kill.

More terrible draws in store for me, but I managed to claim a win by a hair, using just a few shriekers and a lycan.

I was a bit nervous about this deck, but it ended up working beautifully.  A pair of turn-2 devourers and a few Nightmares kept Xuru from being able to play anything for most of the game.
Whew.  Round 1 is over for me, and it was tons of fun.  c:  Thanks for playing me, xuru!  Good luck in the future rounds!
