I really don't think shards should be nerfed at all. I know the old-school "vets" are upset about them, but there are other cards that I feel break the game more, like Eternity and Discord.

I like the diversity of opinions, however I'd like to see a simple ruleset not an overcomplicated one with tables and exceptions and such.
Maybe we can make a little voting about which shards should be nerfed the most, making like 3 tiers as originally planned (with my votes):

-2 upgrades/copy
+2 cards/copy
0 restrictions

I don't know how much this would help, but maybe and should be moved into the +2 cards/copy tier. Then again, they're already stall cards so it probably doesn't change much for them...

Alternatively, move everything in the -2 ups/copy except (and maybe ) into a -1 ups/copy tier?

I kinda like this idea but instead of allow it for the whole event maybe have a soft restriction on it; only usable when you have 6 or more elements available or something similar. Also this way it brings a slight change to the new iteration, but shouldn't affect the endgame of the event when players start having fewer elements.
