First of all i have to say that DesertKnight is a though guy to beat...
really smart play, amazing decks, hell I was almost losing with a deck i created for the sole purpose of beating fractal phoenix

It went all really well, i drew my creatures and thunderstorm, i knew he didn't have dim shields so i took all the momentums out.

Ohhh DesertKnight.. you never learn
Anyway, i had a pretty bad start, no creatures for the first couple of turns, then they were bolted and in the end he chained dim shields which i didnt expect. The second deflag didnt come up (used my first on a fire pillar).
Had my damage on the table but wasn't able to reach him.

I was pretty confident whit this deck.I had the deflags, i had the fire bucklers and i know he didn't pack any deflags. Too bad it wasnt enough
On the last turn i just needed to draw one more firebolt but insted a drew a pendulum
i lost when he was sitting at 8 hp.

Surprise surprise Desert.. here comes the dreaded  / Phoenix Destroyer!
I played cool being very confident of my advantage since when i saw the Aether mark, BUT...
he played phoenixes over and over again, i played bone wall, a couple of poisons and a Bone Dragon. then he started chaining Dim shields and i started losing Bone walls...
On the last turn he had like a ton of phoenixes, and i had just a couple of bonwalls sitting in my hand hopelessly, but then i saw the light... THUNDERSTORM!!!

I saw him using a SnovaBow with  Mark on his first round, so i loaded my BH/discord denial deck.
I have to admit it was easy win, using this perfect counter.
