This seems a good time to ask for clarification on shards - majofa what is the final verdict on Shard?  The rules still do not address them meaning they are unrestricted and simply follow the rules as any other card must?

EDIT 1 - Apparently my topic search for 'shard' returning no results in the Rules thread was a FAIL search.  Thanks www3 for correcting - this is now answered.

His Deck - Firestall, Life Mark
He wasn't playing fire shield, but did draw an early firestorm. My hand was seriously clogged by all three hopes to start with, and 3 of my fractals were in my bottom nine cards. Had to use the first 2 fractals trying to get some light quanta, and in the end never got any pressure at all.

My Deck - DBH, Gravity Mark
His Deck - Discquake, Earth Mark
My horrible RNG - no discord in the first 14 or so cards - was outpaced only by Will's. He didn't draw a nova until the last turn, though he did have an early quake and discord. In the end I had to play discord to push for damage, which gave him the quanta for a fog (though I somehow dodged giving him time quanta for multiple turns). Fog blocked 2/3 attacks - just enough to prevent an exact damage win for me. Silly but fun game.

He had a bolt for every creature I played, and a few deflags for some of my discords. He never gave me the chance to play my antimatter. 5 quanta was a pretty awesome start for him - discord didn't end up denying much.

G1 - desync but I conceded as any human knowing how to use SoP Wardens against PC-less TLS should win.
G2 - I do feel a bit dirty for Ghost-mare usage, but staring down 0-1 was not fun either!  Eternity came in top 1/3 of deck with good GotP draw = win.
G3 - I copied you willCal, sorry not sorry.    Saw your deck and tested it and thought "Whoa - that thing is FUN!".  Couple of the combo out and then PU grown-Golem to win after staves kept me alive.
G4 - I should my lesson... Disco never trolls properly for me, only against me.  One turn of troll and then WINGS IN MY FACE with both Deflags hiding.  Phys made quick work of it really.
G5 - The Furnace of Gratitude (build all-but-one-card-copied from willu... dat Life Mark!) strikes with Phys' dragons coming at same pace as my CC + healing.  The final dragon was bottom-decked otherwise would have been VERY interesting final turns!

Gg's Phys - good luck to you in Round 2 (unless of course somehow we face off again)!
