Earth sucks? A lot of people didn't used their earth mark because they didn't wanted to loss the access to grabbow in late rounds.

I personally don't think a single element suck, however most people don't view as a good element, maybe because of war (team is not doing well at the War event) and, when a poll with 3 tiers was out a few months ago, most people had voted Earth as tier 2 or 3...

What the hell. AMs to deal with rushes and Mitosis + adrenaline to deal with healing. Didn't draw Novas until all my quanta was already scrambled and useless, though <_<

Funnily enough, all the decks you mentioned can beat Sanctuary Stalls on a good draw (except Ghostal, that's usually a quite consistent win regardless, Sanctuary isn't even close to countering that, did you mean Trollmare? ). That's where Nova/Immo rushes come in xD

I didn't meant just Sanctuary stalling, but since Sanctuary prevents quanta and hand manipulation during your opponent's turn it is indeed a worthy choice against all those decks. Personally, I would use duo-decks with 6 Sanctuaries and the rest cards would be non-light creatures for rushing.
