G1: Discake versus Bonebolt.
I'm worried about Monodeath, because my testing showed it as an incredibly fast rush partially upped. Still, I don't feel like I can put together that great of a counter against it without leaving myself really open to denial, so I go with a novabow-y discake. Silence and Explosion should be enough to break Dial chains if necessary, and upped Graboids provide great damage. Fortunately for me, I get a dream matchup against Reclusetal Bonebolt, and take a fairly easy first win.

G2: Monodeath versus Catatitans
At this point I'm considering Discake or DBH as potential threats, and I consider Monodeath to be a fast enough rush that it should be able to crush either of them. Monodeath also happens to be fast enough (accounting for nils getting a terrible draw) to outrush Catatitans handily.

G3: Immogems versus Ghostal/Dragontal
Still worried about denial, I decide to take an immorush to avoid Discord or Earthquake messing me up. I'm inspired by the large amount of damage in sefi's earlier deck so I decide to base mine off of that and modify it to beat nils. Deflags break up Dim Shield chains and Rain of Fire can wipe out a field of RoLs if he goes for RoL/Hope. I get lucky, get out lots of early damage, deflag an Eternity, and bring nils really low before finishing him off with a very, very lucky second deflag.

G4: Immovu versus RoL/Hope
STILL worried about denial that nils hasn't shown yet, I decided to go for an unexpected second immorush, this time with deja vus. An added bonus is that I can stick in an Eternity just in case nils goes for a damageless Immortal. Nils loses mostly because of his fail hand, although a Fire Storm could have cleared the field if needed.

G5: Immofrog versus DBH
At this point I had kinda run out of options that could deal with all of his deck choices, so I just threw something together. Combine that with a bad draw, and it didn't work out that well.

GGs nils. While it may look one-sided, be assured that I was racking my brains to figure out how to counter you. It was a pleasure, and I hope to have you as an opponent again one day.
