Swarm is a passive ability unique to Scarabs and Elite Scarabs that adds N to the creature’s current HP, where N is equal to the number of Scarabs and Elite Scarabs on your side of the field this turn minus the number of Scarabs and Elite Scarabs on your side last turn. N is calculated individually for each Scarab after it attacks.

Other abilities that modify the creature’s health still apply, so if you have 7 Scarabs in play and 1 has been granted +3/+3 from Blessing, it will have its current HP set to 10 after attacking. Damage is applied in the same manner; if you have 7 Scarabs in play and your opponent plays Rain of Fire, all of your Scarabs current HP will drop to 4. In addition, if 4 of those Scarabs are killed via individual creature control spells (e.g., Thunderbolt or Rage Potion), the remaining 3 Scarabs will die at the end of the turn.
