Quick Facts:

Adrenaline is a creature ability that, for a quanta cost, allows the creature to inflict the status effect Adrenaline on a target creature.

The status effect Adrenaline is a passive creature ability which lets the creature attack multiple times per turn. Creatures with Adrenaline also trigger all per-turn effects each time extra attack granted by adrenaline, so for example a Devourer with Adrenaline will drain multiple (two) Darkness () quanta per turn even if it’s attacking for 0.

Freeze and Delay count each additional attack as one turn. Bioluminescence, Incandescence, and any other quanta generating abilities generate additional quanta per extra attack. Infection and all other cumulative poison effects deal additional damage per extra attack. Venom adds cumulative poison damage for every second additional attack.

On the adverse side, Steam will have the creature decrease its attack multiple times. Opposing shield will react multiple times. Poison damage on the attacking creature will act multiple times.

The power of the additional attacks are as follows. Note that the ideal creature to be adrenaline should have 3 or less attack power, or have 8 attack power in order to maximize the benefit.
