Work in progress!!

WORLD MAP

  Your browser does not support iframes.

- size: 10 x 16, total of 160 hexagons
- will be further divided into 4 parts, each 5 x 8

- elements are in a circular shape on the map, like shown in option 1 here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,4126.msg45436#msg45436
- 13 capital cities, one per element, one in the center for 'Other'
- all element capitals are at a minimum distance of 4 hexagons for other element capitals (capital placement is symmetrical)
- all elements have 2 towns, at a distance of 2 hexagons from the capital
- all elements have a wonder, at a distance of 1 hexagon from capital
- some elements have unique fast travel that they and their allies can use

You don't have to do anything with it.

A lot of people are building their own maps so I thought they could use that template if they wanted. It doesn't have much at the moment but I will add terrain graphics etc. Then anyone can build their own alpha map.

So here's my alpha version map.



Every castle is 3 spaces away from the castles on each side.  Each castle is within 2 spaces of 6 resources.  Each castle is 6 spaces from the Rebel Outpost.

I had to get rid of one column to space things out evenly (so it's 10x13 instead of 10x14).  I know this means you can't divide into 4 nice quadrants but otherwise I couldn't make everything evenly spaced.

Mountains are impassable.  Water, Hills, and Forests are the 3 terrains.

I think we should include everything that we are going to use in the beta version, like wonders, quest, etc.

We also have to use the same team size, to see if that is good, or should be more/less.

I think we should play this one with 3 or 4 elements only, lets say:  :air :earth :fire :water, the basic four.

I agree with this. But I would use :time :aether :gravity :entropy because they make the fabric of the universe XD
