I'm assuming that all organizers will be helping in the Alpha and Beta by default.  But just in case, I'd like to help with this as well.

This is actually pretty good for organizers who are planning on participating as a player too, it will give them extra experience before the actual event ^_^

Because of the new skill system that pretty much changed everything, I postponed the start of alpha by one week. No point in rushing it and failing.

As for preparing yourself, there's no need for that. Actually it would be a bad thing because regular players won't have a chance to prepare either. It's better to simulate a real situation.

I'm an the process of adding new and extended rules. They should have answers to many of the questions you might have.

Less than a day until Alpha starts.
EDIT: Apparently this is being pushed back due to skills not quite being ready.

How are we going to divide up teams? We have the elements  :aether , :darkness , :death , :earth , :entropy and :fire in the Alpha. Shall we just pick the teams we want to play on, or assign them randomly?

EDIT: Right, I am apparently in charge of making sure we have teams assigned so we are ready to go when the Alpha starts.

Each Team gets three slots. First come first served for the Organisers. If we don't have enough people we may open this up to outside volunteers but I think we'd prefer to keep this internal for now. If we have enough we may also incorporate :underworld or overflow and add additional slots.
