So, with development continuing apace and the launch of World of Elements drawing closer, I thought I'd gauge people's intentions and the popularity of each element to help us write more balanced and appropriate quests and skills (please bear in mind that skill trees and items are not yet finalised. The finished versions may look very different from the current ones).
So, what Element(s) do you want to play as?

:aether :death :air
Three of my favourite Elements, and with fun skills all around.

:time - Favorite element, some of the most oddest (and fun) skills, and fun title paths (I can be an intelligent know-it-all or a person who makes Clocks :D)
:darkness - Second favorite element, situational skills with varying effects, provides a lot of tactical use and interesting missions hopefully...
:water - I love mages and I love pirates. :)

Most likely :underworld, just because of war loyalty. After that, I would go with either :entropy or :fire, my two favorite elements to play with.

Darkness or Light. Third choice would be Underworld.

Going based on loyalty, :life other than that I'm not sure it matters.

I want to join time, BC I thought of a skill build that I REALLY want to use =]

ill be joining life because a fully life player can salvage so many cards you might never even need to buy them.

To me, :entropy , :darkness and :life look most promising...though its a close call as i also like :time and :fire...

Gravity, period. Not that it has a whole lot to do with it's skills, it's just my favorite element.

Also, to elaborate on my awesome reason why i'd choose fire:
Fire was what I was first known for here, until I was proudly defeated by Antagon. Seriously, who better to lose to? But ever since then, I've never given up my love for fire. I guess I'm joining fire on a more biased reason, because I like it, as opposed to any mechanical reason. Probably not the best idea, but I gotta support what I love :D
but if Fire gets too many players joining it, and depending on those players, I may choose a different, less packed element.

I'm surprised so many people support entropy.
This event lends itself more to mono decks, and fire clearly has the strongest.
I voted for life, water, and earth, because of the people on the team, not the element. It's always fun to play with friends =3 (don't feel bad if I didn't vote for you, there were too many friends on too many teams =C)

I would also like :light because of its skills, but I preferred :darkness >:D

:entropy looks really useful, as does :death . :air looks even better, but it's not one of my faves, so yeah. :P

Although, I don't really like the fact that 6/12 elements have means to be really good allies, leaving the other 6 in the dust. If those 6 are as good as the skills say, then that means noone will want to hurt them.

Um, I don't know the exact mechanics, but a fire elemental might have trouble getting "help" from water.
Although, I don't really like the fact that 6/12 elements have means to be really good allies, leaving the other 6 in the dust. If those 6 are as good as the skills say, then that means noone will want to hurt them.

this is kinda like that, cept this uses elements the game to run the battle, everything else happens in the forums

I would choose :water because every time I will start making a deck in every Trading Card Game, I always choose :water . It's kinda, refreshing.
The later order would be :light and :darkness in the same order. Because I have an alter-ego which is a lone wolf while my self is an easy going.

I'm leaning towards Entropy, Time, or Aether but I also really enjoy Life and Fire. I need to study the skill tree more extensively before I know for certain.

fact is that water makes the alchemy cards, and fire need those for weapon craft. so at some point fire and water will need to have some deals cuz water will want some weapons (lobotomiser for :water :aether stall deck for example)

Based purely thematically, I would say Gravity, Entropy, and Earth in that order. Gravity and Earth because they're my favorite elements, and Entropy because...chaos. It's fun.
I think my fourth option would be Underworld too...might be cool to play an outcast of sorts.

I'm sorry but you can't sign up for war yet, it hasn't started. The next one should be in about a month, I suggest you start looking in the forum 2-3 weeks from now. If you want a better idea on when it's start, it is after the trials that are going on now. Or even better, come ask in the chat once every few days.
