So, how about making this a pretty much "always happening" event? Like, if you're eliminated you just get back to level 1 and get the "noob" stuff again.
Yes, that's the whole idea. There wouldn't be any end to this event, it would run 24/7, 365 days a year. Map would change as the event went along.

Besides that, I think all this idea is awesome. We could even say, "attack' enemy fortresses and wipe that element out. When 1 element wins, the whole thing starts again.
I think instead of one element getting totally wiped out, it would simply go into "hiding". For example if all :darkness cities were conquered, :darkness players would flee to border towns, becoming outcasts. From there they would plan their revenge and some day return taking their land back.

We could have some kind of Global Events that would help these conquered elements to back into the game. for example:

Revenge of the Black Dragons:
All :darkness players receive 12 Black Dragons. All Black Dragons used this round become Obsidian Dragons (upgraded).
that's a cool idea - kind of like a safe haven where they have no power in the game, and then periodically give different elements a "jailbreak" type of event to put them at an advantage to win their way back into the game essentially? is that a correct synopsis of your idea?

Well, that was just an example. Most likely that Event Card will never happen. :)

But if it did, then that player either.

A) Buys Dragons ingame
B) Doesn't get anything

Umm... How do you keep track of players deck after 100 players are in and 15 rounds have passed?

If you have duo deck with limited card choice, why would you ever go into 3rd territory, forcing you to have mark you have no use of?
If decks are predefined, and two neighbor elements start mass fights, would the winner here be somewhat predefined by initial decks?
Do you HAVE TO move "forward" or can you circle around or run from stronger army? How do we keep track of who is where after loads of people join?

Sorry if this has already been addressed, I just started reading and its a big confusing thread  :)

Yea I'm having the same issues as Malduk...don't get me wrong this is a really cool idea and would be awesome if we could do it...but how do you expect to manage it all? We already had enough trouble in war keeping up with 12 vaults that each had 6 players that could've taken charge of them...now everyone's going to get an individiual vault? Also, like Malduk said, how do you keep track of who is where? I think this would be really cool but probably not that plausible for a Forum-based MMORPG and would need to somehow be programmed into the game (or alongside the game...like a seperate "Elements MMO" that used the same mechanics for dueling) by zanz... anyways, if it does happen on the forums, i think it's going to need to be made simpler... and/or have a few seperate games going at once each with a different "World Manager" so that the size of the games are more managable...
