Title: Player Statistics
Post by: Scaredgirl on September 15, 2011, 04:06:36 pm
Here are the Players Stats that are used in WoE: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_US&hl=en_US&key=0AgB8fZX7y8kydC04czgwSkdoS2ROVVVQWnJGRXFvQ0E&single=true&gid=4&range=A1%3ABF33&output=html

Couple of things.

1. Missing gaps are missing players because teams are currently 6/12
2. Everyone is listed alphabetically and by element because all numbers are currently even. This will change as the event goes forward.
3. Stats get updated with a delay of a minute a so, sometimes even less than that
4. Overall rank is a combination of other 6 ranks
5. If two players are of the same level, highest XP gets a higher rank.

It's nothing amazing atm, but should add a nice extra layer of awesomeness in WoE when you can see who the best/coolest players are.

Future additions:
- Minimum match requirement to get to PvP Win %
- Total scores for each element, for example "wealthiest element" etc.

Pretty awesome indeed, I'm a statistics wh*re!

Sucks that I already dropped out of all Top30's after just one day though... I once again hate the alphabet!

SG has once again outdone herself.  Now we can battle for who can stay on top and have an awesome way to prove our worth!  It'll be fun to see which elements have an easier time at different categories, or if skill/focused intent will reign supreme.

Aether gets their character sheets first, Aether starts off winning WoE... I think we have some biasing going on.  :P

This is actually a new version of a spreadsheet we made for Alpha and others worked on it too. All I did was rebuild it so that it's less formula-heavy.

Well, I will say it here and most likely a few more times elsewhere.  I am thoroughly excited for the start of this open beta and thank everyone who has helped put together his event... I know the amount of work put into this already is colossal.  I will do my best to be a worthwhile addition to this stage of the testing.

Stats have been fixed. They now show all the players. Reason it's borked atm is that there are still those missing "ghost" players and almost everyone has the same score. After a few days, stats will look more normal.

We can make them show whatever number we want, but showing stats for everyone might have problems like knowing when a player is low on cards and being able to guess what deck that player will use.

Ok, I was just wondering why it didn't show a lot of others.

Just curious... but it looks like the underworld players start with 100 eletrum.  Is this because they are cool like that, or a fluke due to SG doing 30 hours of spreadsheets?

UW doesn't have access to territorial revenue (i.e. - they can't "capture" hexes like the other elements to increase their city's round revenue intake, they can only neutralize hexes). To compensate, they get access to more quest lines with higher electrum values as well as secret quest lines and a starting electrum bonus to make things easier.
