Yes, I agree. That's why I used Forest Scorpion for 
. You take the poison and get the shield. Fits perfectly. But when you start doing things like using Wyrm to make Wings, it gets a bit more "evil" I think because we are not taking about small scorpions anymore. This "murdering" aspect is why I wanted to use non-creatures as little as possible.
How do you know that the Forest Scorpion isn't a giant Forest Scorpion? The picture of it looks pretty big. [/jk]
But this logic reminds me of a (fictitious probably) story:
Churchill: Madam, would you sleep with me for five million pounds?
Socialite: My goodness, Mr. Churchill… Well, I suppose… we would have to discuss terms, of course…
Churchill: Would you sleep with me for five pounds?
Socialite: Mr. Churchill, what kind of woman do you think I am?!
Churchill: Madam, we’ve already established that. Now we are haggling about the price.
By "murdering" any creature you're saying it's okay to do it, it's just a matter of extent now.
At this point though I went with symmetry. I think it's better to do that first and then see where were are. When everything is ready, it's easier to do small tweaks.
